To help me in making my two magazine front covers
for my media coursework I will analyse and study
otherfashion magazine front covers to help me
visualise and make a successful magazine front cover
and contents page.
I have chosen a spring editionfront cover of thevery
well known fashion magazinecompany, Vouge. I
chose thisfront cover as I thinkit is bright,eye
catching and effective. The wholefront cover is
vibrant and would stand out on a shelf of magazines.
This is crucial as it will help themagazine sell, making
thecompany more money.

whitefont. The magazine is easily recognizableas
vogue as every magazine has thesame mast head
using thesame font. Using thecolour whiteis
significant and effective, thisis because firstly thewhite stands out against thetropical
vibrant backgroundmaking thebrand name pop.Also thecolour whiteconotateswith
bright colours connecting with thespring vibe of thefront cover. The mastheadis pushed
backbehindthe main image, thismakes thecover lookprofessionaland draw theeyes to
themodel on thepage.
The main image is of themodelAlicia Vikander,she is wearing a patterned vibrant top and
shiny metallictrousers in thisimage. Theuse of this shot is important as it is elegant and
poised,this matchesthe typicalbrandimagefor vogue ofhigh fashion and elegance.Her

matching themast head.The use of the whitefont is significant as it keeps thecolour

Byanalysing this magazine front cover it has given me goodtipsand ideas for my
magazine. I will use a colour scheme likethis front cover to make my front cover more eye
catching and pleasing for the customer. I willalso try and make my model themain focus
for themagazine.
