2. Attracting my audience One way in which I attracted my audience was by using a large and punchy masthead to attract the reader to what magazine it is that they’re viewing. Another way which I attracted my audience is using a certain type of font for my cover line for Ke$ha. This is to appeal to the type of girl she is and the new album which she is bringing out called ‘Cannibal’. So the font looks rough. The photograph on my front cover attracts the audience as she is a well known artist..
3. Attracting my audience I attracted my audience by including a top 10 of current best selling artists to make the audience want to carry on getting the magazine to find out what next weeks top 10 will be.. I also included by magazine masthead again in my contents page. This attracts my audience to getting to know the magazine. Another way in which I attracted my audience was by including photographs of famous faces included within the magazine to lure them in.
4. Attracting my audience I attracted my audience by using one large picture of Ke$ha covering one side of the DPS. This is to lure the audience into reading the article through the images. I also attracted my audience by using ‘funky’ fonts to illustrate Ke$ha. Another way I attracted the audience was by including more pictures than text so the page didn’t become to formal. 5. Addressing my audience One way in which I addressed my audience was through the writing style that I used within my magazine. My writing style was informal. Particular words and phrases I used within my magazine were ‘topped the charts’ and ‘funky’ etc.. I took my images up against a bright wall and most of my back grounds were edited. This was because I wanted to portray the studio/posed photo shoot look.
6. Addressing my audience I made sure that each of my models wore clothes that suited the same style of the artist being illustrated. This made my magazine more realistic. Photo of DPS
