3.  Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease
caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium
tuberculosis (MTB).
 Tuberculosis generally affects the lungs, but
can also affect other parts of the body. Most
infections do not have symptoms, in which
case it is known as latent tuberculosis.

5.  Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection
caused by the bacterium Treponema
pallidum subspecies pallidum
 The primary stage classically presents with a
single chancre (a firm, painless, non-
itchy skin ulceration) but there may be
multiple sores.

6.  In secondary syphilis a diffuse rash occurs,
which frequently involves the palms of the
hands and soles of the feet. There may also
be sores in the mouth or vagina.
 In latent syphilis, which can last for years,
there are few or no symptoms.In tertiary
syphilis there are gummas (soft non-
cancerous growths), neurological, or heart
symptoms.

7.  Gonorrhea, also spelled gonorrhoea, is
a sexually transmitted infection caused by
the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae
 Gonorrhea is spread through sexual contact
with an infected person. This includes oral,
anal, and vaginal sex. It can also spread from
a mother to a child during birth.

8.  Inflammation of the liver due to viral
infection. It may present in acute (recent
infection, relatively rapid onset) or chronic
forms.
 The most common causes of viral hepatitis
are the five unrelated hepatotropic
viruses Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis
C, Hepatitis D, and Hepatitis E.
