Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae bacteria that can infect the genitals, mouth, or anus through sexual contact. While many infected women show no symptoms, common symptoms in men include painful urination. If left untreated, gonorrhea can spread throughout the body and affect joints and heart valves. Gonorrhea testing should also screen for chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV. These infections are treated with antibiotics and prevented through safe sex practices.

 Syphilis is most commonly spread through sexual
