Style sheet
These are colour schemes that I
have created using Adobe Colour. I
have taken five colours from each
of the nature photographs which
are displayed at the bottom of the
images. This is a good way to get
color combinations, as the
photographs can help you visualise
the colours together, and then you
can extract the colours that you
need. My favorite is the top left
photo of a forest fire, as it shows
how brighter and warmer colours
can contrast the quieter and loss
bright colours. I could use the reds
of the fire for my logo so it stands
out from the rest of the designs
whereas the dark blue could be
used as a background colour. I
think I would use the lighter blue
to make text boxes and
paragraphs and use the black for
my fonts.
These are potential fonts that I may use
in my work. I have chosen bold lettering
that Stands out for my drink as I think
that it is the most eye catching and
outstanding therefore It would be better
for a marketing campaign. My favourite
of the fonts is Masked Hero as I think it
represents the bold and stylish theme
that I want to have in my marketing
campaign. I would like to use masked
hero for Logos, can design and titles on
adverts, whereas I would like to use
American captain for text on adverts as it
is less stylised.
Above is three different energy drink styles and
designs. I have chosen these cans as they all have
aspects that I would like to use in my own work. The
energy drink on the left is a cheap store brand
energy drink which has simple designing. It’s main
selling point is that it is cheap however, I like the
colour scheme of grey red and yellow. This drink has
basic design features but still looks good. The Red
Bull (middle photo) has a more complex design using
different shapes, more colour and even a text
banner at the bottom. This design is very appealing,
however the main thing that I like about it is the
logo. I would like to use the logo that I will create in
this way as it stands out to the person who sees it.
The use of bolder colours on the logo to make it
more eye catching is also important as it would help
people remember the logo. Finally, the Monster
energy drink uses one main colour to bring attention
to the logo. Using a bright colour such as the green
one on this can is something that I would like to do
with my work as It really shows off the logo. Another
thing I like about this design is the white font as it
keeps the design simple whilst compliment the black
on the can and making the text readable.

Slogan/tagline
For the Billboard, I have decided that it will require larger images and text as
many people who pass it would be driving . This means everything needs to
be blown up so that they can see and read the advert whilst moving quickly. I
have chosen To put the product photo on the left of the billboard as your eyes
naturally read from right to left. I have chosen to use a slogan on the billboard
as a catchy phrase will be remembered by a viewer. Finally I think that having
a large logo underneath the Text is a good Idea as it means people can see it
better. People tend to remember logos of brands so displaying it wherever
you can is important if you want people to recognise your products.
Layout 1 (Billboard)
These are examples of billboards that I found that use a
similar style to what I want to make.
Layout 2 (Social Media)

Background
(skatepark, Rock
climbing,
football game)
For the social media advert I wanted to create a
short video video. I would like the product to be
static in the foreground with the slogan hovering
above it. Because the advert is smaller due to the
fact that it will be displayed on a mobile device
(such as a phone or Tablet), less can be shown,
therefore I need to make the logo smaller, so I have
put it at the top right corner. Finally, I want to use
some video, and have sports related activity in the
background, so the viewer gets a better
understanding of what the drink is for and who it is
aimed at.

Layout 3 (Poster)

In this advert I have decided, that as the poster will
obviously be static, to make it more interesting by
putting one of the cans at an angle. This will make it
more visually appealing as it makes the poster ore
aesthetic. I will use the same slogan as the other
two adverts as it creates familiarity with the brand
which would be important when presenting it to
the public. Finally, I have decided to put the logo at
the bottom of the page so that it becomes better
known and recognised when people see it.

Equipment/Software Needed
Equipment/Software Use
Computer I will need a computer to do the majority of
my work. It will be the most important piece
of equipment as it will allow me to do all of
my editing and written work for this project.
Camera I will need a camera to take photos of my
product so that I can create adverts for the
project.
Adobe Premiere Pro I will need adobe premiere pro so that I can
create a realistic video advert.
Adobe Photoshop Photoshop will be used to create print adverts
such as, Posters, billboards and even social
media adverts.
Microsoft PowerPoint I will need PowerPoint to do a lot of my
written work otherwise I can not create
PowerPoint to show my ideas for this project.
Microsoft Word Microsoft word will be used to do my written
work. It is important I use it as it allows me to
create documents for the project easily.
Production Schedule
Week Work to complete
1 Start on print production. Create a
poster to advertise the product.
2 Finish creating the poster. Start
creating the billboard.
3 Finish the billboard advert and begin
with digital advertising. Start
creating social media adverts.
4 Finish creating social media adverts.
Start creating video advert.
5 Finish creating video advert.
6 Review work and make necessary
changes.
What Needs to be Made
To be made: What it is for
Competition Poster This is to attract customers by getting
them involved in the company. They
would sign up to a competition for the
prize but overall it would boost company
publicity.
Celebrity Endorsement Poster People are more likely to buy a product if
they see a celebrity using it as they have
influence over their fans.
Video Advert This type of advert is meant to with over
the viewers by entertaining them and
displaying their product.
Social Media Advert Social media adverts can reach a targeted
audience and your product is shown to
people who are most likely to buy it.
Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Computer breaks and is unusable. Make sure I have access to another computer
with capabilities to run the software needed.
Files become corrupted. Keep backups of files in OneDrive and on a USB
stick.
Computer gets a virus. Make sure I have Antivirus or another
computer ready to use if a virus is on my
computer.
I become ill. Make sure I am working outside of timetabled
hours and keeping up to date with the work so
that I can catch up.
Files get lost or left on a College Mac. Make sure that all work is saved to OneDrive so
that they can get moved from home or college.
equipment needed to use computer (e.g.
mouse and keyboard) break.
have spare equipment ready or have a laptop
ready in case it happens.
Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Water spillage on computer. Keep liquids away from the computer at all
times.
Eye strain Take breaks and don’t stare at the screen for
too long.
Neck Strain/back strain Get a comfy chair don’t sit down for too long.
Cramp stay active whilst working to stop muscles from

  • 2. Style sheet These are colour schemes that I have created using Adobe Colour. I have taken five colours from each of the nature photographs which are displayed at the bottom of the images. This is a good way to get color combinations, as the photographs can help you visualise the colours together, and then you can extract the colours that you need. My favorite is the top left photo of a forest fire, as it shows how brighter and warmer colours can contrast the quieter and loss bright colours. I could use the reds of the fire for my logo so it stands out from the rest of the designs whereas the dark blue could be used as a background colour. I think I would use the lighter blue to make text boxes and paragraphs and use the black for my fonts. These are potential fonts that I may use in my work. I have chosen bold lettering that Stands out for my drink as I think that it is the most eye catching and outstanding therefore It would be better for a marketing campaign. My favourite of the fonts is Masked Hero as I think it represents the bold and stylish theme that I want to have in my marketing campaign. I would like to use masked hero for Logos, can design and titles on adverts, whereas I would like to use American captain for text on adverts as it is less stylised. Above is three different energy drink styles and designs. I have chosen these cans as they all have aspects that I would like to use in my own work. The energy drink on the left is a cheap store brand energy drink which has simple designing. It’s main selling point is that it is cheap however, I like the colour scheme of grey red and yellow. This drink has basic design features but still looks good. The Red Bull (middle photo) has a more complex design using different shapes, more colour and even a text banner at the bottom. This design is very appealing, however the main thing that I like about it is the logo. I would like to use the logo that I will create in this way as it stands out to the person who sees it. The use of bolder colours on the logo to make it more eye catching is also important as it would help people remember the logo. Finally, the Monster energy drink uses one main colour to bring attention to the logo. Using a bright colour such as the green one on this can is something that I would like to do with my work as It really shows off the logo. Another thing I like about this design is the white font as it keeps the design simple whilst compliment the black on the can and making the text readable.

I have chosen To put the product photo on the left of the billboard as your eyes naturally read from right to left. I have chosen to use a slogan on the billboard as a catchy phrase will be remembered by a viewer. Finally I think that having a large logo underneath the Text is a good Idea as it means people can see it better. People tend to remember logos of brands so displaying it wherever you can is important if you want people to recognise your products. Layout 1 (Billboard) These are examples of billboards that I found that use a similar style to what I want to make.
  • 5. Layout 2 (Social Media) Photo of product can Slogan/tagline Logo (small) Background (skatepark, Rock climbing, football game)
  • 6. For the social media advert I wanted to create a short video video. I would like the product to be static in the foreground with the slogan hovering above it. Because the advert is smaller due to the fact that it will be displayed on a mobile device (such as a phone or Tablet), less can be shown, therefore I need to make the logo smaller, so I have put it at the top right corner. Finally, I want to use some video, and have sports related activity in the background, so the viewer gets a better understanding of what the drink is for and who it is aimed at. Layout 2 (Social Media)
  • 7. Layout 3 (Poster) Photo of product can Photo of product can Logo Slogan/tagline
  • 8. In this advert I have decided, that as the poster will obviously be static, to make it more interesting by putting one of the cans at an angle. This will make it more visually appealing as it makes the poster ore aesthetic. I will use the same slogan as the other two adverts as it creates familiarity with the brand which would be important when presenting it to the public. Finally, I have decided to put the logo at the bottom of the page so that it becomes better known and recognised when people see it. Layout 3 (Poster)
