Rationale:
In my first project I made a music video in which I developed my video editing skills. I used Adobe
Premiere pro to edit my music video and learnt how to cut video, sync it with music and learnt how
to clone myself on the video.
My second project was the adventure project where I learnt how to create a stop motion animation,
make pixel art and learnt how to create different types of print to promote the game.
I think that the Adventure Project will be the most similar to what I plan to do for my FMP because
it involves advertising and taught me how to create different types of print media.
Project Concept:
For my project I want to create a marketing/advertising campaign for an energy drink that I will
design myself. I want to create primarily print media such as posters and billboard designs but also
other types of advertising media such as Social media adverts, internet pop ups and TV or even
Radio adverts.
I will need to see what types of adverts there are to be made and also the common features and
themes of energy drink adverts. This will help me as otherwise I will create a worse looking advert
that does not represent my product properly. I will also need to see how to make professional
looking advertisement otherwise my advert will lack in quality. I need to make the adverts and
product loo as good as possible in order to be able to ‘sell’ the product.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed:
I plan to use self and peer evaluation to see what I could improve for the next time I create similar
types of media. Peer reflection will be most useful as it will directly tell me what I have got wrong
and right about my work.
