3. Graphic Design Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
• One of the advantages is its simple and gives you a rough idea of what the final design will look like.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• there are limits. Such as, you are not able to use photoshop. So it doesn't look professional.
4. Graphic Design Production (Strengths)
Coke slogan.
Telling people
the good things
about the drink.
And emphasising
how nice it
tastes.
The coke logo.
So people
know exactly
what it is.
2 coke bottles.
Placed in each
corner. Its
simple and it
shows the
product I'm
trying to sell.
Background as
an “urban”
theme because
coke zero is
usually
promoted
towards
teenagers.
5. Graphic Design Production
(Weaknesses)
The logo is quite
distorted
There is an
empty space
which isn’t very
interesting as i
couldn’t think
of anything else
to put on the
poster
The background
is quite dark
and boring
6. Graphic Design Production
Both include
images which are
modern and would
appeal to a young
audience, such as
my background
and their bubbles.
Both have the
coke zero logo
but i have made
mine larger
I have used the
same bottle
design as the
one on the real
advert.
7. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
• You have to be more creative getting your point across. Because people cant see what your
selling.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• You only have a few seconds to get your point across.
8. Radio Production
In my radio ad it showed a group of people laughing and having a good time.
I took inspiration from the “”makeithappy” commercials. Some of the similarities
include the feeling of happiness and being together. It also shares the idea that if
something bad is happening coke will make it better.
Some of the differences include, the coke on my radio ad wasn’t shared by accident
and no one was being bullied in mine.
9. Video Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
An advantage of working in this medium is that we got work in groups and we spent time out of class
doing something more hands on.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
A disadvantage of working in this medium is sometimes it can be hard coming up with ideas that everyone
agrees with
10. Video Production
In the “sleepalker” advert when
the man finds the coke he is
better, like in our video.
A difference is I'm being
handed a coke when I'm
hurt.
11. Video Production
A strength is it was a funny shot
and it fits in with the overall
theme of the advert. A weakness
is it wasn't intentional I was just
messing around but we put it
into the advert.
A strength is we are advertising the
product and involved the label in our
advert. A weakness is overall shot
was supposed to be retaken as it is
blurry, this could be because of the
tools that we had. Also we didn't
have enough time.
13. Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
Young people like video games, so it’s a good way to advertise to young people.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
Older people might not play it, so your cornering yourself because your only advertising to a specific audience.
14. Video Game Production
A similarity is the same player
and coke can have been used for
the finished version.
A difference is the coke can has been
enlarged to make a logo for the vending
machine.
Another
difference is I
have included the
presence if a
“boss” character
and if he catches
the main
character he gets
scared so he is
sick, this was
added because it
is funny and
appeals to a
teenage
audience.
A similarity is there has been
a venting machine giving out
free drinks.
A difference is this is
pepsi not coke, also
this is a video mine is
a video game.
15. Video Game Production
A strength is its
funny and fits in
with the target
audience. It is
also an original
idea.A weakness
is I could add
more
difficulty
levels as
there is only
one. This is
what I would
change.
A change I would make is add more
accessories to the surroundings
such as a calendar and a clock.
When I used the PC
to make this it was
very slow and
unreliable so I would
change to a Mac to
save time and
therefore improve
my work.
16. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
• The video because it can been seen to all audiences where as a video game only younger audiences will
play it. And not the radio advert because not all people listen to the radio.
• Which of your products is the most
professional? Why?
• The video because there is more ideas you can do and there is no restrictions to advertise and show off
the product.
