2. I gathered my audience feedback by handing out questionnaires and getting
people to watch the documentary, view the poster and listen to the radio trailer.
One of the questions we had on our questionnaires was whether they found the
documentary interesting. The majority of our audience said that they did enjoy the
documentary. They said that the continuity in our documentary was good and it
flowed through well without interruptions.
The audience said that they think that although the editing was good on the print
advert, they thought that it could have been improved by using a scarier image to
make it more relevant to the theme. Suggestions were that we could have used
scarier setting for example in the woods or also using a dark figure to represent our
theme clearer.
The audience also said that although the quality of the editing in the radio trailer
was good and there were no parts that jumped suddenly they thought more sound
effects could have been used to make it more frightening to grab listeners’
attention better.
Overall the feedback that we got was very positive and the majority of the
audience said that they would like to continue watching the rest of the 30 minutes
of this documentary.
