How to create a PLA campaign?
To create a campaign, login to the Paytm Mall seller panel and follow these steps -
Click on PLA Dashboard

The dashboard of your account will appear

Scroll down the page and click on Create New Campaign

Under the Settings section, you need to enter the campaign details -

Enter the name of your campaign

Enter the budget limit you have set for your product ad on a per-day basis
Eg. If you want to spend up to Rs. 500 daily then set the daily budget as Rs. 500

Here, you need to enter your maximum budget of this ad campaign
As this field is optional, if you leave it blank, your campaign will run until the amount in your
wallet gets exhausted

Click on the Save button

Under the Product Exclusion section, you need to de-select the products which you do not want to advertise

Here, you can de-select the products in two ways -
AI - It will automatically exclude the products for a campaign that are analyzed to attract lesser attention
Manual - It will allow you to ‘exclude’ your products you don’t want to advertise

If you want to exclude the products manually then enable the button for Manual mode

Click on Yes, change to Manual Mode

Click on Edit Product Exclusion

Here, you can filter your list of products using the available options
Click on the Apply button
Products matching with the above filter will appear on doing so

Now, de-select the products by simply clicking on a particular product and then
clicking on Exclude Selected Products

Under the Bid Settings section, you need to set the bidding rate for your campaign -

Here, you need to select the type of bid for your campaign

There are two types of bid -
1- ROI (Return On Investment): It is the measure of the return amount/revenue on a particular investment. To calculate ROI, the benefit (or
return) of an investment is divided by the cost of the investment (on ads).
For example- You want to spend Rs.10000 in the campaign and expecting revenue of Rs.50000 in return then the ROI will be:
ROI = Revenue/Investment (on ads) = 50000/10000 = 5 (times)
2- CPC (Cost Per Click): Cost-per-click (CPC) bidding means that you pay for each click on your ads. For CPC bidding campaigns, you set a
maximum cost-per-click bid - that's the highest amount that you're willing to pay for a click on your ad.
For example- You want to spend Rs.4 per click, then you can set CPC bid as Rs.4 and you will be charged only Rs.4 per click on your product ad

Enable for ROI
If you want to select the ROI target, follow these steps -

Here, you need to enter the campaign-level ROI target
ROI target -

Here, you can check the ROI target recommended by the system
ROI target -

If you want to set the category-level ROI, click on Configure
ROI target -

Here, you can set the ROI target for your particular category
ROI target -
Note – If you do not set the ROI target for any category, the campaign-level ROI target will be applied on that category

Once you have set the ROI target for your categories, click on the Save button
ROI target -
Note – If you do not set the ROI target for any category, the campaign-level ROI target will be applied on that category

If you want to set SKU (product)-level ROI target, click on Configure
ROI target -

Click on Set ROI for new SKU
ROI target -

Click on this arrow to filter or sort your products
ROI target -

Click on Apply button
Product matching with the above filter will appear on doing so
ROI target -

ROI target -
Here, you can set the ROI target for a particular product belonging to you
Note – If you do not set the ROI target for any product, the category-level ROI target will be applied and if category-level ROI target is not set, the campaign-level ROI
target will be applied on that product ad

ROI target -
Once you have set the ROI target for your products, click on the Save button
Note – If you do not set the ROI target for any product, the category-level ROI target will be applied and if category-level ROI target is not set, the campaign-level ROI
target will be applied on that product ad

Enable for CPC
If you want to select the CPC bid type, follow these steps -

Here, you need to enter the campaign-level CPC bid
CPC bid type -

Here, you can check the CPC bid recommended by the system
CPC bid type -

If you want to set the category-level CPC, click on Configure
CPC bid type -

Here, you can set the CPC bid for a particular category
CPC bid type -
Note – If you do not set the CPC bid for any category, the campaign-level CPC bid will be applied on that category

Once you have set the CPC bid for your categories, click on the Save button
CPC bid type -
Note – If you do not set the CPC bid for any category, the campaign-level CPC bid will be applied on that category

If you want to set the SKU (product)- level CPC, click on Configure
CPC bid type -

Click on Set CPC for new SKU
CPC bid type -

Click on this arrow to filter or sort your products
CPC bid type -

CPC bid type -
Click on the Apply button
Product matching with the above filter will appear on doing so

CPC bid type -
Here, you can set the CPC bid for a particular product belonging to you
Note – If you do not set the CPC bid for any product, the category-level CPC bid will be applied and if the category-level CPC bid is not set, the campaign-level
CPC bid will be applied on that product ad

CPC bid type -
Once you have set the CPC bid for your products, click on the Save button
Note – If you do not set the CPC bid for any product, the category-level CPC bid will be applied and if the category-level CPC bid is not set, the campaign-level
CPC bid will be applied on that product ad

Now, click on the Save & Go Live button

Under “Your Campaign” section you can check your created campaigns
