FEEDING THE HOMELESS MINISTRY ââLord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you
something to drink? Then the King will reply, I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of
mine, you did it for me.â Matthew 25:37 & 40. The homeless shelter at St. John will open Nov 1st. Last spring, Our
Saviour members provided several meals for the residents and we would like to continue this ministry with a commitment
of providing one dinner each month. We will receive a schedule of available dates for dinners from the shelter in early
October. Meals (for approximately 45 people) need to be cooked outside the shelter and brought to the shelter ready to be
served by 5:30pm. We need people to help plan the menu and also to prepare and serve the meal. Donations of milk, fruit,
soup, paper products, or money to purchase items are always appreciated. Anyone wishing to work with us in this
ministry should contact Linda Callesen, 468-4819, Caroline Arndt 469-3140, or Gloria Morgan 468-6881.

ordered can be seen in the Youth Room. Thanks for helping with this effort.

LIFE QUOTE â âYour loved ones who died trusting Christ are at home with the Lord. They have been moved from
poverty-stricken lives to be possessors of a wealth that cannot be measured. We too can know that, as the years fly by, we
have an eternity before us that knows no end.â Rev. Homer Larson, speaker on the Christian Crusaders radio program
