VISITORS FALL FOR OUR SAVIOUR – Visitors and friends are always welcome to worship with us. Please let us
know you were here; fill out the Fellowship Pad (it‟s in the hymnal rack) with today‟s date, name, address, phone #, etc.
FAITH BOOSTER CLASS CHANGE – The Adult Confirmation/Faith Booster class is cancelled for November 1.
Class will resume on November 8 and continue thru November 22 at 9:30 and 10:30 am.
GOT PIZZA? – OSLC youth planning to attend the 2010 Youth Gathering are selling fresh Take and Bake Pepperoni,
Sausage or Cheese pizzas TODAY. $10 each. First come, first serve…when they‟re gone, they‟re gone until next time!
NURSERY FOR TODDLERS – Children, toddler thru age 3, are welcome to the nursery during the 9:15 am service on
Sunday school days. Take the elevator to „LL‟ and turn left. Our pager system will quietly alert you if you are needed.
YOUTH NIGHT – On nights when the Confirmation Youth meet, youth in grades 6 through 12 are welcome in the
Youth room from 3:30-7:30pm. A meal will be provided for a free will donation. Use the games, sit back and visit, do
some homework...all in a safe, Christian environment. The gym may also be available! Join us; feel free to bring a friend!
YARD WORK FOR EVERYONE! – Put November 7 on your calendar today, and then come to OSLC that day armed
with your yard rake. Help prepare the church lawn for the upcoming Wisconsin Winter. We‟ll start at 8am and be done
by noon! Many hands make light work, so please join us. Families welcome.
ON TIME OR A NEW SERVICE TIME? – Make sure to change your clocks before you go to bed on Saturday night or
you will be an hour EARLY for church on Sunday. Hey, maybe you should NOT change them on purpose and try a new
service time! Either way, we hope to see you on Sunday morning before the 3:15pm Packers/Vikings game.
2. NURSERY ATTENDANTS NEEDED – The nursery is open during the 9:15 am service to watch toddlers through 3
years old. We would like to prepare a pool of adult volunteers (21 and older) that is big enough to create a schedule where
each volunteer is needed only once each month. Call Mike Charles at 337-0940 if you are interested in joining this year's
pool. The schedule for attendants is created one month in advance and we can work with your busy calendar. Background
checks are required for all nursery workers. Information on that can be found by calling Michelle at 468-4065.
IF YOU OWN A TEXT SCANNER, PLEASE STAND – We are attempting to assemble and compile a lively
presentation of Our Saviour's history. We have many history books from the past 68 years of the church. We are looking
for someone who can scan the text and photos from those precious books into OCR format so the content can be emailed
to the church in a format that can be changed. Want to serve the Saviour this way? See Pastor Dave. Tanks! [and Jeeps]
No man ever got lost walking on a straight road.
SNOWBLOWER ANYONE? – OSLC is in need of a snowblower (approximately 8HP). Would you like to donate one?
Do you have one that can be bought at a low price? Please contact Michelle in the office with size, cost, etc. Thanks.
HOW ABOUT THAT ORGAN? – On behalf of the organists, the music programs at Our Saviour, and the congregation,
a resounding THANK YOU to all those who helped raise the money for the recent repair to the organ keyboard. Thanks
belong to: the Trustees‟ Booyah sale and to all who worked on that project, the Sherry Simon family and the family of Lil
Doberstein for their generous donations in helping to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord".
THANK YOU ONE AND ALL! – The "Pair and a Spare" campaign, an effort to collect socks and underwear for Brown
County‟s needy children and adults, was a big success and our family here at OSLC made a big difference helping
others. Together, we collected 335 pairs of socks and 143 pair of underwear. Thank you!
SODA DONATIONS REQUESTED – With Fish Fry Fridays back in full swing, we again ask for donations of Coke
and Pepsi products. Both regular and diet (including caffeine-free varieties of both) are needed. Your help is appreciated.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOE BOX COLLECTION – Toothbrushes for all shoe boxes have been
donated by Donna Biebel and may be picked up at the Welcome Center. Thanks so much, Donna! And Sue Bruhn has
donated shoe boxes for anyone needing one, which can also be picked up at the Welcome Center along with assembly
directions and labels designating the sex and age of the child for whom the box has been assembled. Shoe boxes ready for
delivery must be dropped off at Our Saviour by noon on Wednesday, November 18. Thanks so much for your support!
NEW LIFE FOR OLD CELL PHONES – Please bring your old cell phones to Church and help them continue to work
for good! The Evangelism board will be sending the cell phones to Golden House and Cell Phones for Soldiers. Phones
can be placed by the food barrels or in the Evangelism mailbox in the office hallway. Thank you!
LAST CHANCE FOR YUMMY! – Our Saviour‟s Preschool is currently running two fundraisers. If you would like to
purchase Door County Coffee products or Racine Kringles, please contact the office for product information, costs, etc.
All orders must be placed by Friday, October 30. Your order will be ready for pick up at church on November 20.
YOUTH IN GRADES 7-12…MARK YOUR CALENDAR – Movie night will be Saturday, November 7th from 6-9.
The evening will include food and, as always, friends are welcome! See you there!!
FEEDING THE HOMELESS MINISTRY – On Friday, November 6 at 3:30pm, members interested in the homeless
ministry will be meeting in the church kitchen to prepare our first meal. At this time we will set up a tentative schedule for
the year and discuss assignments. For our first meal, Donna Arthur will share her recipe for tater tot casserole. We will
also put together a relish plate. At about 5pm, a small group of those present will deliver and serve the meal to St. John the
Evangelist Homeless Shelter. Anyone interested in learning more about this ministry is invited to join us on the 6th at
3:30pm in the church kitchen. If you are unable to participate in the preparation or serving of the meals but would still like
to support this ministry, we are seeking donations of milk (2 gallons), veggies for the relish plate, and fruit. Members
wishing to make a donation please contact Linda Callesen, 468-4819. Members wishing to make a financial donation may
do so by writing their name on a plain envelope including their church envelope number and the wording “Homeless
Shelter Meals‟ on the front of the envelope. These donations will be used to purchase future food items as well as serving
items (paper plates, cups, forks, knives, spoons, etc.).

LIFE QUOTE – “Being a Christian is not a spectator sport; following the Savior calls for courage and commitment…
The Lord has entrusted us with the salvation story … we are people of Christ with the one and only message of hope that
can forgive sins and save souls. „Thus far, no further.‟ Here is where we make our stand.” Rev. Ken Klaus, speaker on
