Evaluation Part 7: Reflection
At the verybeginningof the taskwe hada chance to developourresearchingskillsbecause we
researcheddifferentcodesandconventionsfordiffernetgenres.We thenwentontoresearching
one specificgenre toprepare usforour filmproduction.Thenwe startedplanningourstoryline and
createdstoryboardwhichencludedsome of the cameaanglesandshotswe mightve included. Since
the verybeginningof the taskI have learnedtoworkwell independantly onresearchandother
elementsof the task.Although Idon’tthinkwe workedwell togetherasagroup because some
people were puttinginmore effortthanotherswhichmade itverydifficulttogetalongand to get
the final productionpiece completedintime.However,we somehow managedtogetthe Final
ProductuionvideotogetherwhichIthinkshowsresilience.
The thingI enjoyedthe mostwasthe firsttime experimentingwiththe equipment,likethe camera,
because itwasimrovngmy technologicaskillsaswell asmycreativity.Ialsolikededitingthe film
footage onthe Final Cut Prosoftware because itwassomethingIhadneverdone before butitis
somemthingIlookforwardtodoingagain.
If I couldchange one thingitwouldbe the timingof whenwe got ourfinal prouctionpiece done
because itwasverylast minute andveryrushed. Iwas lookingforwardtoourproductionfinally
comingtogetherbutitwas put togethersoquicklythatI don’tthinkthe filmreflectsourfull
capabilityof editingskills. Iwouldalsochange the lightingbecause itgoes fromverynatural lighting
to artificial lightingwhenitgotdarkoutside.
Overall,itwasan enjoyableexperiencewhilstdoingtbe practicle workandIfeel Ihave definitely
improvedmassivelyonmymediaskills
