1. 4. Who would be the audience for your media
product
2. My magazine targets the ethnicity demographic in
many ways. The ethnicity that I am targeting my
magazine at is black males, the cover artist for the
magazine is an artist that specialises in the genre
that is mostly consumed by this ethnicity.
Also, my magazine targets the ethnicity
demographic through the language used. The
language used is very street, very ghetto and this
targets the market demographic because it is the
language that they speak regularly and therefore
understand.
3. The age demographic that my magazine is targeted
at is people aged 17 to 34. The reason it is
targeted at this age range is because in my
audience research, I found that they were the ones
who regularly listened to the genre which my
magazine is about, Trap Music.
My magazine targets this demographic through the
giveaway of free song downloads. They are the
people who download songs regularly and
therefore it only makes sense that we allow them to
have 5 free downloads.
4. My magazine is being aimed at people who live in
the ghetto areas, this is because in my audience
research I found that they were the ones who
mostly consumed trap music.
I have targeted this demographic through the
language used. They speak slang regularly so they
will be able to understand the slang used in the
magazine and therefore they will be able to relate
to the magazine.
5. My magazine is targeted at people who are working
class. I successfully target this demographic
through the means of accessing the magazine. The
magazine is available to buy online and is available
on a mobile app. People who are working class do
not have time to be stopping at shops to buy
magazines.
I have also targeted people who are working class
through the use of colloquial language. They are
the ones who are most familiar with the language
and therefore will want to buy the magazine.
