1. Target audience
Kameel is an 18-year-old student with a deep and passionate interest
with the hip-hop/ rap subculture. He’s one of the unique ones of his
friends who have had detailed experience with this genre and
because of this, he introduces this to his friends (whose favourite
artist of all music is now a hi-hop/ rap artist.
Kameel enjoys playing basketball and gaming with his friends. He
channels his deep connection with music and uses it whenever he
can, for example while he’s playing games and so forth. He is a keen
gamer and likes to watch YouTube videos for tips, tricks and news
and often gets introduced to new hip-hop/ rap music through
background music or from montages and other form of videos.

Eminem;
Hoodie Allen;
Logic;
Childish Gambino;
Drake;
J. Cole;
Chance the Rapper.
Kameel comes from Detroit, USA. He tries not to think of the crime
going on around him and likes to focus himself on the music. As this
became a useful distraction to him, he has decided to make his own
music based on the variety of artists he enjoys. He currently does gigs
for free to get his name out there and to spread his passion for the
genre.
He is a lower-class man from a lower-class area of Detroit. Even with
this label, he still gets enough money for his family and buys hip-hop
magazines. A few of his favourites are Billboard, XXL and 34th street.
He likes these magazines because they’re appealing to the
fashionable age and still looks professional. He only wishes there was
a magazine which solely works on the hip-hop and rap genre, this is
where I will design a magazine where it reaches out to people like
Kameel who enjoy this genre and its elements.
