During the process of constructing this product, the author learned to use several new hardware and software technologies. They used a green screen for presentations, Apple Mac computers, and Photoshop for the first time. Photoshop allowed them to quickly and easily edit photographs using tools like the Quick Selection Tool. Online software like Prezi, iMovie, Voki, YouTube, and SlideShare were also utilized. These programs helped with presenting work, adding creativity and comedy to evaluations, sharing videos, and displaying documents without downloads. Overall, the author gained experience with multiple technologies through planning, research, and construction of this project.

technologies from the process of
constructing this product?

2. During planning and research and construction I have used multiple hardware and software’s to
either present my work or develop my work on. For example to present some of my work during
research and planning I used a green screen which I have never used before, by doing this it has
opened me up to more software’s to use within my work. Also the hardware side of the process
would include the Apple Mac computers, before this project I had never used Apple Macs before, so
due to this it took me a while to get use to how they work, and also how the different software’s
work. For example this would include, Photoshop. I have never used Photoshop before o it took me
a while to get use to using it so often. In addition to this I have used some tools on Photoshop,
which I have never used before for example, the tool called “Quick Selection Tool”. By using this it
helped me edit my photographs quickly and easily. Furthermore I have used different software’s
online including, Prezi, this has helped me present my work more in planning and research than
construction, due to me having a lot of writing it was practical for me to present my ideas and
images with annotations. To add to different software’s used I got a chance to use Apple imovie
maker, by doing this it helped me present my ideas during planning and research in a more creative
way than before.
Other types of online software’s I have used are Voki, I used this within my evaluation. By doing this
is helps me produce my response in a more creative way and also adds a little comedy to it. Also
using YouTube I have never uploaded a video to YouTube before, I have now found out it is a quick
and easy way to share videos and also upload them to be viewed. Lastly using another online
software called SlideShare, this is an easy way to present word documents and also PowerPoint
presentations, so people can view them without having to download a PDF file or having to open
the Microsoft software on there computer.
