2. • Although it was a massive change in the amount of
work we had to create from As to A2 I found the
ancillary task useful. This was because it gave me
more opportunity to get information across to the
target audience and reader. I also think that it helped
show my creativity and the different skills that I have.
This is evident as like I mentioned before we didn’t
have to explore this before; therefore I have been
able to show progression in skills that I could use in
my magazine final product.
3. • Not only do I think that having the magazine, billboard and
website is a good combination but so does my target
audience. I asked them their opinions on my magazine I
showed them my billboard and website and they commented
…
• “I understand your region more now”.
• Another person commented “they all complement each other
so well and makes it aesthetically pleasing”.
• I am glad that I got the audience preference as well as mine.
4. • Not only did it help compliment the looks of my
other products it also helped my improve me
techniques. For example I learnt how to use the
brush tool and got more confident in my photo show
skills when doing my Billboard. This meant when it
came to final product's I could use this to make my
front cover look even more professional. Not only is
this evident of the combination of the ancillary and
main tasks complement each other it also shows
progression form AS-A2.
5. • During the process of my ancillary tasks I was able to
identify codes and conventions that I have
challenged and helped succeed the theme of my
magazine.
• For example I used the same colours of red and
white and I was able to advertise my personal
magazine through all of the tasks. This is evident
when you look at all my pages in my magazine and
my website.
