One powerful thing that is in the poster is the skull this highlights the fact that drugs could also kill because of the idea of skulls being
dead people .The poster uses dark colours such as black and red to symbolise danger this is showing the audience that drugs could
be dangerous and harmful to those who use it. The bottle in the very middle of the poster has facial features and you can see its
eyes are very red and swollen up the reason for this being the middle of the poster is so it stands out and shows people that you
could also could also be causing harm to your body when taking in alcohol and taking drugs. They have combined all the skulls and
the; alcohol, cigarettes, needles and pills to scare and create some type of shock for the audience also, to show all the different
types of things that could be harm full, the way you can tell that these are harmful is because of the big circle in the middle with a
line in the middle of the circle which symbolises that you should cut it all out before it gets to far and you harm yourself. Also all the
different kind of dark colours such as red and black have been put into the poster to show danger because each of the dark colours
such as black which symbolises death and red which symbolises blood and also again death but it could also, symbolise love which
highlights the fact that you could love taking the drugs but it can cause death and pain. The reason for all the images being in the
middle of the poster is because that is the first place people will look and it draws more attention to the poster. The title at the top
‘’no drugs’’ is written in big and bold to stand out to the audience they have outlined it in red because red symbolises death and
blood also because it is right at the top and isn’t surrounded by anything around it is so that it is more clear for the audience. The
images that are being used in the poster are animated and not real life this could be to symbolise that if you carry on using drugs
and alcohol that it could result in death. The pictures nearly fill up the whole of the poster because they want to show that there is a
lot of things that could be harmful and could cause death also making the images bigger stands out to the audience so they are
more likely to pay attention to it rather than the posters having small images which will not stand out and not create any effect for the
audience.
3. WEBSITE CAMPAIGNThe hyperlink at the top is a good way to share the website campaign with people
also it is a lot easier to share with others all that is required to do is copy the link and
send it to people this will then bring in more people to the website campaign. There
is no search bar this is going to be more difficult for people to get to the page or
section they want to be informed about. The layout for this website campaign is very
formal and well placed and it is very organized this highlights the fact that this
campaign is a very formal and important campaign. There is a big image of the
president and is also placed right in the middle of the campaign advert this is so. All
the texts are in bold writing this is so it stands out for the audience and also a couple
words are in smaller writing this is so the audience knows what is important. The title
‘’thank you’’ is placed on the side next to the image of the president so it is the
second thing that the audience will see also to show that this is what he has said.
Written across Barak Obamas image is a light white writing saying
‘’4presisedent.us’’.They have used the image of Barak Obama because he is a very
well known and respected man this will bring in more people that support him. He
title ‘’I will always have your back’’ ‘’thank for getting mine’’ this supports the whole
reason for the campaign advert because it is for people who want to learn more
about him so they can then vote for him to be president and he is sending a
message for all the people that enter the site. At the bottom of the campaign advert
there is map this is to show where is it going to be taking place so the audience have
a clearer understanding of where everything is going to be set also is could show
them how far the destination is from where they live. There are three different types
of pages people can go into and it is clear by the titles what each page is going to be
about but there is also less options o go on and visit.at the bottom of the page there
is a live on election day site this is so people can click on it and follow the president
around and learn more about him and what he does on the actual day this is also to
then so the audience have a clearer understanding of what the president actually
does and his day to day life this helps the audience connect more with him. There
are no animated banners because this campaign website is a formal one a dadding
in animated banners will make it seem less formal.
When you go onto the site there is an arrow that will then lead you on to
other pages weather is be about Barack Obama or another person running
for present this gives the audience more options about different people
and not just one person so it is easier to learn more about both of the
running presidents. When you move our mouse around nothings pops up
or appears.
4. Moving image campaign
In a second a day the advert is very relaxed at the beginning and there isn’t any
fast movements, towards the end of the campaign advert it started moving
faster to show how much more dramatic it was. Every second it cuts and
changes to another day but still stays in the same position. The whole of the
advert had diegetic sounds such as people talking cars and bombs and
helicopters this hooks in the audience even more and connects to audience
more with the girl in the moving image campaign. They have used only close
ups to show the emotions on the girls face so the audience feel more
sympathetic and will then there will be more of a chance of people helping also
because the shot cuts every second it goes back to how fast peoples lives in
countries such a Syria could change in just under a few seconds this goes back
to the whole reason for the advert is so the audience have a clearer
understanding of what people in countries that are in war are feeling. The audio
and the scene connect because at first the sounds are very sooth and relaxing
which is what is going on in the scene and then towards the sounds build up
and they have added more intense sounds such as bombs which then relates
back to the girl and how she is truing to escape everything. The background
shows everything that is going on beginning the little girl so at the beginning it
started of with all her family surrounded around her and as it goes on it shows
people trying to escape everything and people trying and shows how there is no
help which then links back tot the fact that people in counties that are going
through a difficult time need more help because there hardly is any and right at
the end is shows how the girl only had one person of her family left with her this
also highlights the fact that peoples family's and friends are dying and they need
people to be there for them and to help them out.
