In my opinion universal pictures would be a great production company to produce our film as it has
produced award winning films such as King Kong and the famous JAWS, Jurassic Park and Despicable
me .universal pictures is an American film studio, owned by Comcast through its solely owned
subsidiary NBCUniversal, and is one of Hollywood’s biggest film companies.
Universal produces, acquires, and distributes direct-to-DVD titles, classic titles from the Universal
library, consumer products and specialty motion pictures under Focus Features. Through its
international production group, the studio partners with leading international film companies to
make and acquire films for wide commercial release or distribution in specific countries.
Universal Studios, Inc. is active in a variety of entertainment enterprises. Its Universal Studios Group
division offers production facilities in various cities such as California, Orlando and Florida to
independent producers of filmed entertainment and commercial advertising. The company's motion
picture distribution operation includes outstanding video and DVD distribution. Universal also
produces organised televisions shows and airs its documentation of television shows and motion
pictures on international and domestic cable networks. Universal's content is released across
traditional and digital distribution channels, including theatrical exhibition, physical and electronic
home entertainment, pay and free television, and subscription on-demand services. Across all
traditional categories, as well as interactive and wireless platforms.
Much of Universal's studio facilities are open for public tours and offer attractions and rides based
on motion picture and television themes. This would be great for the promotional business aspect of
film as it will capture a large audience. Movie theme parks are also in operation in Spain and China,
this again is great for business is because we will gain many viewers from different backgrounds,
thus creating a diverse audience. Other business activities involve licensing for consumer products,
such as apparel with movie and television characters, the chain of Spencer's Gifts stores , online
shopping , archives and interactive electronic games.
