Consumer Media with an issue releasing every month. The magazine is
popular for its movie and TV genre and is widely appreciated by its
target audience who consist of movie-goers as well as hardcore film
fans. They are also quite a collectable item as most the covers for
certain issues are visually unique and look very artistic. They are good
are sticking out amongst the other magazine on the shelves of shops
and newsagents.
Contained in the pages of one issue are the latest reviews on new
films, interviews from stars and celebrities, articles from professional
critics and journalists and even special looks at upcoming films that
haven't even been released.

PlayStation magazine is a popular news letter aimed towards gamers
specifically on that platform. With a new issue available every month it keeps
readers involved and in tune with all the latest releases, updates, DLCs and
events just for them. Each page is designed to entice and draw in fans of every
genre of games, it was made with one thing in mind, gaming. Getting people
interested in gaming and already supporting the community that make up
PlayStation players.
Among the reviews and news, PlayStation UK has a lot more for the reader to
enjoy, such as top 10s and game of the year awards, they also often do polls for
consumers of the magazine where they get to vote send comments in as a
chance to be featured in the paper. This is a great technique to get people
involved with the media and keep them coming back to see if they made it in.

National Geographic Society is a non-profit organization with the
intention of raising awareness for natural problems in the world and
showing off all the wonders of the world. The National Geographic
magazine acts as an informative newsletter that people can subscribe
to and have delivered to them when issued. It provides the latest
figures, statistics, facts and discoveries in our natural world. While also
talking about controversial topics like poverty and climate change.
The articles included range from topics like greatest holiday
destinations to discoveries about secret civilizations from thousands of
years ago and are written by professional journalists, scientists,
archeologists and anthropologists.

• A main selling point article – the cover often features a prominent
selling point which is described in more detail inside

• I will aim to use imagery and text that seem appealing to my
target audience, to help me I will research what pictures,
colours and fonts are popular in that same genre.
• My cover will also refer to the stories and articles inside
without revealing too much so they will feel as if they need
to purchase the magazine and read the whole story
