Working Title:
Game central
Product’s Purpose:
To entertain and educate people about new upcoming games and tips on how to be the best
player. It is a visual representation of what is happening in the world of games and keeping people
updated on the latest information.
Genre:
Gaming magazine.
Content
The magazine will have an article about the new upcoming game horizon zero dawn with a big
picture of what the game will look like when it is released and get people excited for when the
game comes out. I will have a big picture of the character, which will give the customer an idea of
the graphics and the amount of detail that has been put into the game.
Audience:
My audience will be from the ages of 16-40 as it is a violent game but there is no content that
would make the game an 18. The audience that the magazine is designed for is mostly males as
women don’t tend to play games consoles with violent games and high amounts of action. The
audience that I will be aiming to Impress will be DE-C2 as the magazine will not cost that much
and people will need to have a large amount of spare time to be able to read the magazine as it
would take quite a long time to read through the full magazine. The audience’s psychographics
would be emulators because they will want to have the best magazine and have the best idea of
how the game works and how they can impress people by being really good at the game.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
I will not include any offensive material but the magazine will have an age restriction on the
magazine for children under 16 as the game is aged 16 and above and the magazine cant
advertise a game to children that isn’t appropriate for children. My magazine will not offend anyone
in my magazine as it will not be targeting anyone and it will be for any ethnic, social and religious
group. My magazine will not offend anyone as it is purely informing people of what is coming up in
the game industry and to give information about the new horizon zero dawn game. Yes I am using
all the features of the new game horizon zero dawn game and promoting it. I will not get told off for
copyright as I am promoting the game.
