My magazine will first only appeal to the ages 10-30 as my magazine is focusing on an unofficial
game which I will create to advertise which will be towards those ages. I don’t think people around
34 or older are interested in gaming as they don’t have time to play games however there are
parents who would buy my magazine to browse for gifts for their children. The gender for the
magazine would stereo typically be for boys however as gaming progresses more and more
females play games. This means I will class my magazine to be for both genders. My social status
will be for the D class as they will have enough money for my magazine and for the games I will be
talking about. They might also have the time to read it and play the games. My magazine might be
for the emulator as the magazine may teach you how to play the game which means it will help
you be an achiever.
Rationale (approx. 100 words)
Most of my skills are going to from Photoshop which i have acquired a lot of throughout this year.
These skills will defiantly help me make my magazine look professional and realistically
professional. I have also researched many things about the subject and how they make magazines
and websites appealing to their audience while giving interesting information. This will give me the
idea of how to layout my project and what right information I should include. This also taught me of
what sort of language I should use such as informal and formal however I still don’t exactly know
how to make a website at this point which I hope to learn.
Project Concept (approx. 200 words)
My magazine will include a lot of content relating to gaming. I will mostly revolve it around a game I
will make up, as that will be my top news of my magazine. This means I will have to talk about the
content within the game such as the gameplay, plot and background. As well as at I will also
include a hint tips section on telling you how to defeat certain bosses within the game. I will also
talk upcoming games and short summary of the game. I may talk about game consoles with
information about it. I will also include all of this for my website. I will also include fan art at the end
so that. I will have to research about certain games so that I can gain inspiration to create this
game as well as looking at existing magazines and websites in order to understand the layout.
Additional aspects for website will be adding a comment section so that the audience can discuss
the game together. I will also add more games to advertise to give my website more content. For
this I will defiantly have to understand and learn how to make a website as of right now I have no
clue.
Evaluation (approx. 50 words)
To evaluate my work in detail I will reflect my process into a PowerPoint showing my work in detail
and depth making it easier for me evaluate as whole. My reflection will be a like evaluating while
I’m working on my project. This will also help me analyse deeply as it will give me information of
what I was thinking at the time.
