starts off by describing how the narrator can't seem to tell whether or not what he is experiencing is

I had the typical signs of hating myself and feeling worthless. It was very hard to continue living on
like everyone else since I was fighting myself internally all day long. I'm sure a lot of people go
through some sort of depression in their lives. Luckily, I could say that I didn't have severe
depression like many others suffer from. However, I did struggle every day to stay sane. It was very
hard to stay focused in school and to socialize with friends and family. Eventually, I did get past my
depression. I realized one day how bad my depression had gotten and I started to become aware that
I needed to change. While it may not have worked for a lot of people, I healed myself. I started to
appreciate everything in life that we take for granted. Like waking up healthy and not having to
worry about bombs or landmines like some do in countries like Syria. I started to understand that I

In 1973, Al Atkins and Chris Campbell left the band because they weren't happy with the band's
lack of money. Sue Halford mentioned her brother, Rob Halford, as an exchange for Al, welcoming

Music is an Art form that has been around since humans were created All around the world music is
played in many different forms and styles. As early as the 1950 's, a new style of music was being
created in the Untied States, one that forever changed the world. Not only did it bring a completely
different sound, but it changed the way people acted, dressed, and even people 's lifestyles. This new
style of music became known as Rock and Roll. It drew many from a one–way path to a sea of
possibilities musically. Me being a music lover really enjoyed the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame site.
Rock and Roll have sheltered and comforted me in many times of needs. For as long as I can
remember as a kid and throughout my painful adolescence years, and also as an adult, it has inspired
me to appreciate the music of all kinds throughout the years.
One memory that music helped me get through was an altercation with my step dad, who was very
mean and abusive towards all of us kids growing up, was a song from Aerosmith. I grew up loving
Aerosmith but, when the song "Janie 's Got a Gun" was released I would play it over and over as an
escape mechanism. My step–Dad sure didn 't like it and the older I got, I think he knew I was fed up
and started fighting back which made him leave me alone.
Aerosmith was an inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. They formed the group in

album,Ride the Lightning, at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was released in

Hard rock and heavy metal, not a solid mineral or a substance on a periodic table, but music. Heavy
metal and hard rock, both categories of the expansive rock genre. Even though rooted in the same
tree, these subgenera's have expanded to an indistinguishable sounds, and both have cemented
names into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their origins were not different. Starting in England,
landed a multitude of large groups rising the post war industry of 1960s. Bands such as Led
Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest formed to combat feelings of angst as a low–
income factory workers, and to express thoughts counterculture that brewed in England. This was
the time period when it was just "rock". The music coincided with many feels of the lower–class

some faced what seemed to be extinction others went through a sort of evolutionary process. The
bands that were at the top of the heavy metal ladder during this time were such acts as Motorhead,
Iron Maiden, and Tygers of Pan Tang. These groups would be just some of what the new crop of
heavy metal bands would consider inspirational. This style, which is typically referred to as "The

After graduation James moved back to Downey and was offered a place to live by his friend Ron
McGovney. Ron's mother owned several houses, and the vacant one James would be moving into
was doubled as a rehearsal space since Ron was learning how to play the bass guitar. (Doughton 15–

Before Cliff, there were so few bassist who played in his style, that it was considered outlandish to
play a bass that way. Cliff stacked distortion pedals, electronics that turned the bass sound into a

A month before the concert, I got Metallica tickets for my birthday. I got the tickets and about thirty
pictures of me through the whole level 6 season. I loved Metallica, I would blare it through my
Bluetooth speaker as loud as I could. Everytime I listened to the band, I would sing along or head
bang. The only thing was that I had to wait a whole month before I could attend the concert.
A month passed, which seemed more like a year, on June 18, I got to attend my first metal concert. I
had already gone to two other concerts, which were 2cellos and Trans Siberian Orchestra.
Before, we drove to the Tiger Stadium, I was having some issues with my ears. It was hurting and
felt like there was puss inside slowly coming out of my ear. We drove to Urgent Care, but it would
have taken forever because there was such a long line, so we just left.
