This document describes the design and development of a smart phone controlled robot using Bluetooth for domestic purposes. A Raspberry Pi 3 is used as the control unit and is interfaced with Bluetooth and DC motors. An Android application is developed to control the robot's movement wirelessly via Bluetooth. The robot can move forward, backward, left and right according to commands from the Android app. The purpose is to create a robot that can be remotely controlled from a smartphone for applications such as surveillance and home automation.
