This document summarizes a study conducted to design a traffic signal at Court Naka Cross Road intersection in India. Traffic data was collected during peak hours to determine traffic volumes on each road approach. The Webster's method was used to calculate the optimal signal cycle time and green times allocated to each approach. The analysis found that the total cycle time needed is 342 seconds, with green times of 66, 99, 66 and 87 seconds allocated to the four approaches, respectively. The signal design aims to improve traffic flow and reduce accidents at this busy intersection that currently experiences heavy congestion without signals during peak periods.
