The document analyzes water quality in Chengannur Municipality, India after severe flooding in 2018. Water samples from 20 wells in flood-affected areas were tested for 9 parameters. Results found pH, dissolved oxygen, iron, and nitrate levels exceeded standards in some samples, indicating contamination from floodwater and other sources like improper waste disposal and industrialization. The study concludes the water resources in the area are contaminated and pose health risks to residents. Future work should raise awareness and identify long-term solutions to improve water quality after such events.
