2. Process
• I used YouTube to find
the clips that I wanted, I
picked video game
trailers to use in the
montage as they usually
provide the best action
scenes. And to help me
download the clips, I
used a website called
convert2mp3
3. Process
• I saved the video game
clips and the music in
one folder to make it
easier to find them. It
also helps me to know
what games I have so far.
I did this by copy and
pasting them into the
selected folder.
4. Process
• When editing the
video I made sure to
keep the beat of the
music to the beat of
the clip, I do this to
help them blend
together. So every
time there was a beat
to the music I would
either change clips or
have something at
that beat.
5. Process
• Sometimes when the
music drops (meaning
it goes quiet or
completely silent) I
would make the screen
go black. This
technique is great for
blending clips with
music because its like
the clip is the beat to
the music. I did this by
cutting bits of the clips
and just leaving it
blank.
6. Process
• Another method I
used to help blend the
clips and the music
together, when the
music was calm I
would use calm clips at
that part of the music,
and when the music
got dramatic I used
dramatic clips. I did
this by carefully
picking the wright clips
and music on YouTube
7. Process
Part 2
• I collected the
images from
google images and
saved them in one
folder on my
memory stick.
8. Process
Part 2
• I pasted the images
into Photoshop and I
used the move tool to
place the images were
I wanted them. I used
characters from the
montage and placed
them all really close to
each other like a movie
poster.
9. Process
Part 2
• To make the poster
stand out a bit more.
I added effects to the
characters. I did this
to make my poster
more unique.
I searched for images on google images
placed the one I wanted on the poster used
the move tool to put it where I wanted it, I
then deleted all the unnecessary parts of the
image using the magic wand tool, I then
lowered the opacity of the image so that you
can see the characters hand through the
effect, I then used the blur tool to blend the
image to the poster.
For this effect I
also add smoke to
make it look less
empty.
10. Process
Part 2
• Finally I added
text to the poster
using the texted
tool, I put what
games are in the
montage. And I
made the name
of the song the
title of the poster.
