Topic: A Community Relations Plan for FC Cincinnati to
engage UC students in the off season to encourage ticket
sales for the 2018 season
Group Participants: Haberkorn, Moman, Schimmoeller,
Wolf, Schacht
Overall Objective: To provide a community relations plan to
reach UC students with at least three different engagement
opportunities or events.
In-Class Presentation Date: November 14
Expectations: All members participate in the written and
verbal presentation. Presentation should include:
PowerPoint, community relations tactics with writing
examples and an event budget. Include an introductory
overview of FC Cincinnati using a video hosted by the
organization.

Topic: Grand Opening Event Plan for the new Fifth Third
Arena for Media and Major Donors
Group Participants: Bart, Franklin, Holt, Lewis, Sershion
Overall Objective: To present a comprehensive one-day
event plan to mark the re-opening of UC’s new Fifth Third
Arena to reach media and $1 million+ donors in separate
events on the same day.

release with visuals and an event budget.

Overall Objective: To create a high-end media event with USA Soccer
and World Cup Officials along with city leaders and business leaders to
announce Cincinnati as a host city for 2022 World Cup.

anniversary of the Flying Pig Marathon in advance of the
May race to increase media exposure and registration
awareness.

Overall Objective: To create a buzz worthy event to
celebrate the 20th
anniversary of the race to draw attention
to registration for all races offered during Flying Pig
Marathon Weekend.
