Cincinnati is one of several North American cities being considered to host matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Students at the University of Cincinnati are presented with group projects premised on Cincinnati being selected to host the semi-final matches. The projects involve creating public relations or event plans to promote youth participation, engage the community, and drive ticket sales. Groups will give presentations on November 20th and 27th and December 4th outlining their PR/event plans, PowerPoint presentations, and draft press releases announcing their initiatives.
