1. Day 3
A- I am teaching a Spanish 1 class in a public high school. The students ages range from
14 to 18. Their are 20 students in the class 11 girls and 9 boys. Half the class is African
American.
S- The students will learn how to conjugate regular -er and -ir verbs in the present tense
by using a video, webquest with a partner, and will be assigned a verb for them to do an
art assignment. At the end of class they will go on the class blog and leave a sentence in
a comment for an -er verb and an -ir verb. By the end of the day they will be able to
conjugate -er and -ir verbs with 95% accuracy.
S- The students will watch the rest of the video for conjugating -er and -ir verbs. They
will be given either an -er or -ir verb and write it on a piece of paper. They will then have
to decorate the verb with what that verb means.They will use the rest of the class to do
the webquest with a partner.They will come up with a presentation with a partner using
the present tense. They will present the conversation in front of the class. They will also
put 2 sentences on the class blog one for -er and one for -ir.

Materials- computers, projector, paper, markers, paper, pencil, a partner
U- The students will watch the video and other supplement lectures. With the verb they
are assigned they will create a verb art that describes that verb. They will then work with
a partner on a webquest that is to form a conversation using present tense verbs. They
will then present it in front of the class. They will then post 2 sentances to the class blog
one for -er verbs and the other or -ir verb.
R- The students will pay attention to the video and other supplement lectures. They will
2. also participate in the verb art, Webquest, Conversation, and blog post.
E- The students will be evaluated on the verb art, WebQuest, Conversation, and blog post.
