A- Analyze the Learner
I will be teaching all about money to my first grade public school classroom. There are 17 students in
the class room 8 girls and 9 boys. 80% of my students are white/Caucasian 14% African-American and
6% Hispanic. Two students in the classroom suffer mild ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper Disorder).
S- State Objectives
My first grade classroom will know the history and diversity of money and will understand
effectively how to count and how to make change for $1.00.After learning songs, doing projects, group
activities, discussing the diversity of money and its value, and watching videos of the history of money.
My class will know all about money with 100% accuracy after 1 week of in-class and at home-work.

U- Utilize Media and Materials
I will review with my students the importance of money. We will review our song by watching
the video on youtube. I will then review with the class my power point poster and poem “all about
money”. We will then make an art project with our green construction paper.
R- Require Learner Participation
The students will be required to participation in the class discussions and singing of the song.
The students will also be required to read along with me while reading their poster poem about
money. The students will work individually on their art work on the how to make a dollar project.
E- Evaluate and Revise
I will evaluate the students’ progress and skills during the singing of the song. The students will
be assessed on how well they do their how to make a dollar project. Neatness is key.
