1. Assure- Tuesday
A- 4th grade classroom. 20 students: 14 girls, 6 boys. There are 7 African-
Americans, 5 Caucasians, 4 Japanese, 4 Hispanics. Each student is in an
enrichment-based classroom for higher learning.
S- My students will build on their knowledge of September 11,2001 and learn
about the fire department by describing and understanding with watching a
short YouTube video, conversing with their classmates, looking at a digital image
and watching a short Arts and Bots video at the end of the day with 90%
accuracy.
S- The YouTube video the students will be watching consists of a storytelling
memo. All of the materials I am using in this lesson have already been
completing and were not cost dependent. The equipment used will only be an
overhead projector and a smart board to convey the picture image for the
students to see. The digital image was already made and will be presented on the
smart board as well.
U- The students will be using their own computers to watch the storytelling
video. The Arts and Bots video will be shown on the Smart Board so I can stop
and explain exactly what is going on technological wise.
R- I will require learner participation by asking the students to convey with their
classmates about their opinions on what we have learned today. There will be a
short quiz at the end of the day to give me formative assessment about how well
the students understand the information being portrayed. Students will also be
getting hands on by practicing around with the robotics.
E- To evaluate my technology I will ask the students how they felt about the
YouTube storytelling video, and the Arts and Bots. This will give me a way to
justify what to change for my future classes.
