The objectives are for students to be able to identify characteristics of ballads such as alliteration, metaphor, and rhyme scheme. On day one, students will discuss vocabulary words, view posters, a YouTube video, and complete a webquest to meet the objectives with 80% accuracy. Students are required to participate in discussions and complete the webquest for homework. The teacher will test all media beforehand and revise the plan if needed.
