2. I am teaching a Spanish 1 class in a public high school. The students
range from the ages of 14 to 18. There are 20 students in the class. 11
girls and 9 boys. Half the class is African American.
3. My students will be able to conjugate –ar, -er, and –ir verbs with 100%
accuracy by the end of the unit using class activities and participation.
4. • Day 1- Introduction of pronouns ( Yo, Tú, Él, Ella, Ud., Nosotros,
Vosotros, Uds., and Ellos) and the verb “ser”.
• Day 2- Introducing regular –ar verbs and how to conjugate them.
• Day 3- Introducing regular –er and –ir verbs and how to conjugate
them.
• Day 4- Irregular verbs and rules (e ie , o ue , and e i) and how
to conjugate them.
• Day 5- Web Quest (final evaluation)
5. We will be using a variety of different technologies during this unit. We
will be doing exercises on the computer along with desk work activities
that will be done in groups and individually.
