2. LOCATION 1 Odeon Bridge
The location above is a fairly isolated bridge in North Greenwich, the reason
behind this is because the length of the bridge is long enough for the audience
to see the characters walk through and allow themselves to be introduced.
Furthermore, we will then take an establishing shot of the area.
3. Location 2 Alleyway Woolwich
This is deserted alley way inWoolwich South East London, we used this
location because the surroundings are isolated and that is usually a
convention of such films as meetings would not be out in the open
because will probably discussing something very important.
4. Location 3 Bench Woolwich
This location is once again similar to the previous three and we chose this because
it once again brings in that convention that is used in a lot of mafia films, with two
males sat on a bench but acting as if they’re not speaking to each other.
Additionally, this is right next to the RiverThames so it is also symbolic as if to say
the antagonist is running into a dead end.
5. Location 4 Pool Bar
This is the only shot in a building, however
there is great importance with this shot, this
reason being is because it shows the
importance of the character that is speaking in
this scene because that is what Dusaj always
reflects back to. Furthermore, the location is
also very mafia based as it is pool bar and when
watching films in the 1930’s it is locations like
this that is used.
6. Location 5 Indoor Car Park
This location is where the action is based and this location is used to for the
penultimate scene and also the final scene and the reason we decided to use
this location because it is all about isolation and secrecy and that is shown
through the antagonist in the film. Furthermore, a car park would be a good
place to have a gun fight as characters will be able to take cover and it will
have that same feeling as conventional gangster mafia action packed short
film.
