Teaching approach: The lesson is based on the Communicative approach and
organized through The PPP Procedure.
Integration of skills: the skills will be integrated by:
SPEAKING: when the learners singthe song and answer questions.
READING: learners develop these skills when they read the title of the
activities and develop the activities.
LISTENING: through a song video, and through the questions and answers.
WRITING: when the learners complete the activities, writing the numbers and
its names.
Materials and resources: a notebook, worksheet, flashcards, a book.
Pedagogical use of ICT in class or at home: In the lesson, I will use the
notebook to watch and listen to a video about a Hello song.
Seating arrangement: Students will be sitting in their desk.
Assessment: I will verify that students can understand and recognize the
vocabulary on numbers.
I will verify that learners can understand and produce oral and written
sentences to answer the questions.
Although I will use the PPP method, I will try to make the necessary miming so
that they understand my using the target language, encouraging the students
to produce the pieces of language I am teaching.

Routine: 5´
4. Purpose: to start the lesson, get the students into the mood and predisposed
for work, and establish a good relationship.
Description:
I`ll get into the classroom and greet the learners: “hello! How are you?
E.A. Hello! Fine.
I will begin the lesson inviting the learners to sing the Hello song.
Hello, Hello
How are you?
I`m fine. And you?
I’m fine. Thank you.
Transition: “well, now we are talking about the classroom objects”
Warm Up: 5’
I will show to the learners a wheel with the classroom objects. I will ask to the
learners about the classroom objects and they will answer.
“Now, I have a spinning wheel”. I will turn the wheel. Then, I will point to the
object and ask students “What is it? E.A. it is a ruler.” I will turn the wheel and
repeat the question. I will continue until we named them all.
Transition: “Excellent! Now look what this.”
5. Presentation: 5’
I’ll show students a pencil case. And I’ll ask to the learners what is it? E.A.: it is a
pencil case.
I will say excellent! Then I’ll open it and show the students the colour pencils.
I’ll pick up one by one and show them. And I’ll asks to learners what colours is it?
E.A: it is black. I will say the number it is zero. I will repeat the process with the
rest of the colour pencil. And I will encourage students to repeat the name of the
numbers.
Then, I going to stick the colours pencil on the board.
Transition: Very Good! Now, we are going to work in the book.
Development 35’:
6. Activity 1 - 10’:
I will invite students to open their books on page 37. I will explain, “you have to
write the name of the numbers in the correct order.”
Transition: Now, we are going to paint a monster.
Activity 2 - 15’:
I will invite students to turn the page in their books to page 38. I will explain they
have to paint the monster, but they have to use the chart that they have near the
monster. They should look at the number and use the corresponding colour.
7. Transition: now we are going to count numbers
Activity 3 - 10’: I’ll invite students to continue with the next activity.I ‘ll explain
they have to count the number of dots that appear in the dominoes and then
match it with the corresponding number.
8. Transition: excellent! Your work well today, but now it is time to go home.
Closure 5’:
I will invite students to play a game. I will show the spinning wheel. And I will
explain how we are going to play with this.
I will turn the wheel and they have to mention the colour and the number that the
arrow points. Then, I will invite the students to turn the wheel. And the rest
mention the colour and the number.
