13. Innovation Power City Triangle
• The project regional atlas city triangle is a pilot project in
the national programme “atlas of the living environment
• Data of two provinces and 7 municipalities are
assembled, using the national atlas open source toolkit

14. Structure of the regional Atlas
► Every municipality has to publish its own GIS-data
(‘data at the source’)
► Municipalities have the choice to use commenrcial
software or open source software to publish their GIS-
data.
► For the municipalities and provinces that want to
connect with the national environmental Atlas a toolkit
has been developed.
► This toolkit contains free open source software so
WMS, WFS and CSW be published (Geoserver) and
maps can be presented on websites (Flamingo).
► The toolkit also contains a manual and there will be
support (helpdesk).
