Production Process Evaluation
Research
• One strength of my research was that i had many ideas of what game I
wanted to make.
• One other strength of my research is found many games to do with space
and had a good template to what I could do my game about
• One thing that helped me a lot in my research is the different types and
styles I could do and there is more then one option
Planning
• Even though I went of my plan a little bit my planning but I managed to
get the story around the same lines even though I had to not do a bit of
the story one I originally planned because I would of ran out of time and
would not of been able to finish in time
Time Management
• I ended up doing my project faster then I thought I did so it gave me more
time to do my project and improve on it . If I had more time I would of
made my project longer and add more detail. One other thing I would do if
i had more time is make the sounds sound better and meant to be there
and blend them more.
Technical Qualities
My product is very similar to star wars
because they are both set in space and
have something that destroys planets
and have ships that fight in space. One
other similarity is that there is good
and bad guys and the story is to stop
the bad guy.s
Aesthetic Qualities
Looks retro
very
different to
other games
Made everything
myself by hand so
they would be no
copy right
It also looks
very nostalgic
and might give
people
nostalgia
Audience Appeal
I appealed to my target audience which was 13-18 years old for any
gender bye making it child friendly and not making it gory and not that
violent. I managed to fit it purpose bye it being distracting and break
from reality. I also made it so there was no stereotypes of characters so
no one would get offended
Peer
Feedback
Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the sounds, it makes it realistic
– The music at end
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– The text at the end, needs to be more in line and
straight rather than wonky
Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the theme of the game and how the sound that
goes with the ships.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product? The sound that goes with the
explosion is a little bit behind of when the
explosion is, but other then that it’s really good.
Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– The background is animated, and the laser thingy
at the end and the explosion worked well together
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• The spaceships could have moved up and
down too
Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
• I agree with the fact the title at the end needed
to have a lot less wonk to it and be straighter
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
• I disagree with the one where it says the sounds
of a bit realistically in real life u see the explosion
before you here it.
Peer Feedback Summary
One change I would make is I would make it longer and add more action. One
other thing I would improve is adding more sounds and spending more time on
the timing of the sounds so it would be on time. One other thing I would
improve on if I had more time to finish this project would be adding more
animation and more things going on in it.
