2.  This proforma is to record how you worked on your production
 You should complete this each week during production
 Consider all relevant areas that you covered that week
 Think about what worked/what didn’t work/how you can improve
and actions for the following sessions/weeks

3.  During the first week I was working on the
planning stages of my production, in
particular the initial plans and research
PowerPoint. Personally I believe that I
worked quick and well with this part of my
planning, as when we got the brief for this
production task I already had several ideas
on what I was thinking on creating as I felt
with this brief we had bee given a sense of
freedom of which we ad not been given
before in previous briefs. However when it
came to creating the mind maps, I couldn't’t
decide on the final idea as I had come up
with several good ideas that I could of used
on my mind map, so as a result of this I did
waste some time upon deciding what my
final idea was. But once I had done this It
was easy sailing when it came to my
research PowerPoint, there was already
multiple short horror/scar films that have
been created so I had many different already
existing products that I could use as
examples to compare to how I want my
production to turn out, and take a few ideas
of them.

4.  At the start of the second week I was
focused on finishing off the last few bits
on my research PowerPoint, once I had
done that I moved onto completing my
proposal document, I found this also to
be quite easy as I had already decided
on what I was making my short film
about and had looked at the audience
for it also, so in a way it was just a form
that had to be filled out, in a way it
seemed to be more like filling out a
legal document i.e what my short film is
called, who is the audience, genre ext.
The proposal is more around being a
form that I would have to fill in if I was
actually producing the film I would have
to fill out a document like this to make
sure that I would be able to produce
this short film.

5.  During this third week of my production
work I have been working on my pre-
production PowerPoint which has really
been about finalising my idea and filling
out the rest of the forms for my
production. I feel that I worked well with
my pre-production PowerPoint and got
all of the slides completed to a good
standard. However it wasn’t only the
PowerPoint of which I had to complete,
I also had to fill out a variety of forms
such as a risk assessment and call
sheet. These are seen to be important
forms that I had to complete as I am
filming out of college, one of the forms
that relates to this is the ‘location
release form’, this is one of the forms of
which was important to fill out as if I
didn’t then I wouldn’t have been able to
film at that set location because I
wouldn’t have proven permission.

6.  This week I have been more focused
around the idea of filming my
production work and moving onto the
editing process of my work. I feel that I
worked well with my work throughout
my production and editing time, the
filming for my production went
smoothly without any altercations and
everything went majority how I wanted
it to, I was easily able to acquire the
camera angles of which I wanted to
which really did in my opinion help to
emphasise the genre of which I based
my short film around. I feel that the
editing was something that also played
a part in emphasising what the films
genre is based around and also helps to
make it seem more appealing to the
audience especially from the short
snappy shots with the lights on/off idea
makes it all come together nicely.

7.  This week has been based around the
idea of my evaluation, on a whole I feel
that I worked well and quickly with my
evaluation, this is mainly because I felt
that I had come up with my idea so
quickly and was so adamant about
filming about that set idea that there
wasn’t really many faults in the filming
of my production and as a result there
wasn’t really that many faults that I felt I
needed to call upon in my evaluation,
so as a result I was able to get my
evaluation filled out quite quickly.
Despite this though, due to falling
behind with my work at some point, I
was actually behind when it came to
completing my evaluation, in fact I was
around a week behind as when I was
completing my evaluation I had past the
deadline.
