Use Of Social Media On Your Twitter Essay
Have you ever wondered how to build your email list as well as drive audience and traffic to your
blog with one product? As a website owner and blogger, I wanted to increase traffic while not
overwhelming myself with a variety of processes. It didn 't seem like it would be possible since
there were different products and services for each aspect of my blogging. I could bring in traffic
with one task or increase my email list with another task. Finding a process or product that
accomplished all those tasks seemed impossible until a fellow blogger recommended Yumpu.com to
create and distribute a slick magazine. With all the traffic streams available to me, I was completely
overcome with indecision. I could use social media to drive traffic to a page of my website where I
would capture email addresses. Another option would be to send emails asking other bloggers to do
guest posts on their site. I 'd also need a service that would allow me to send newsletters to my
audience once I had their email addresses. Along with those functions, I 'd also have to have
someone create the newsletters for me as well as the page of my website to capture emails. It was all
too overwhelming. I needed one system in place to perform all those tasks. I didn 't want to create a
sales page as well as weekly newsletters to get people to come to my site. When I realized I needed
a great magazine to get people to the website, I didn 't earn nearly enough money to hire a graphic

The Importance Of Technology In Education
Technology involves using tools to solve problems. From the perspective of a teacher, technology
helps present information to students. A smart board or a Promethean board is a form of technology
that helps present materials during a lesson. Students with visual impairments and visual learners
benefit from the usage of smart boards and Promethean boards. For example, while doing
observations for a second–grade class I noticed a teacher using an electronic version of their math
textbook. Students had their textbooks out and the teacher had it up on the smart board so that they
could all work on problems together. When I was in elementary school there were only black
boards. However, I did take computer classes all throughout elementary school and all my
classrooms had computer centers. I was not exposed to a smartboard until I reached middle school.
One goal of adding the smart boards was to make both students and students more technologically
savvy. Another goal was to increase the interaction and interest of students within the classroom.
Midway through the seventh–grade, the classrooms got Promethean boards. At first, they were
confusing to use, but by the time the year ended I was able to use them, so I achieved the goal of
being more technologically savvy. Despite the initial confusion, they were fun to use in the
classroom. My reading teacher would get electronic books and put them on the board as we read a
story. At the end of a unit, this teacher would create Jeopardy

he digestive system is a physiological marvel, composed of finely orchestrated chemical and
physical activities. The food we ingest must be broken down to its molecular form for us to get the
nutrients we need, and digestion involves a complex sequence of mechanical and chemical
processes designed to achieve this goal as efficiently as possible. As food passes through the
gastrointestinal tract, it is progressively broken down by the mechanical action of smooth muscle
and the chemical action of enzymes until most nutrients have been extracted and absorbed into the
blood.

Amazon.com aids customers purchase decisions in a variety...
Amazon.com aids customers purchase decisions in a variety of ways. For example, Amazon keeps
track of customer's order history from their database which collects information on the items that the
customer purchase and groups them into convenient categories. The reason for this is to build a
profile on the customer which is then used to market items on the customer's homepage that they
would be more apt to buy. Amazon also groups items by pairing certain items. One example is that if
the customer is buying pans, Amazon will have a column for items that are frequently bought
together and label them as such, assuming that the person buying pans would probably also need a

Websites are developing new types of user interface design and taking advantage of quicker network
systems. These new interface designs often allow users to view and manipulate large quantities of
data. Some examples of the new interface ideas include the slider based filtering, treemaps and the
frag and drop.
The user interface design of Amazon's Diamond Search uses click and drag sliders to allow users to
broaden a wide range criteria. The page then automatically updates to show how many results
conform to the users' selected criteria. Fisheye menus are very common for Amazon and are very
useful in helping users to select items. Menus like this are used by Amazon to provide excellent
features by changing the size of menu to provide a magnified– focus.
Treemaps is another user interface design in which data modified. Treemaps enable Amazon to
present complicated data relationships. Drag and drop is another type of user interface designs that
makes use of users' familiarity with moving elements around. For example, Amazon allows users to
either click a 'button/plus symbol" to add an item to their cart or drag–and drop the item into it.

A Short Story : A Story?
She crawled into bed, the day's events swirling around in her head with the help of a little Crown to
top it all off. As she lay on her side, she stared silently in the dark and the closed door, listening
intently to the silence in the house. Had he already gone to sleep so quickly? She didn't even check
to make sure he had everything he needed. Maybe she should get up to and see if he had enough
blankets and the like for the night. That's what she was going with. As she sprung from the bed, M
tip–toed across the floor, brushing her hair behind her ear, stopping just as she reached the door.
Ever so slightly, she turned the doorknob, careful not to make any noise, just in case he was asleep,
and peeked from behind a small crack. Across the hall, she could see only darkness from under the
guest room door as it was pulled tight. "Figures," she thought. Biting her lip, she pondered what to
do next. "Go back to bed, he's asleep," she thought. "But what if he was cold...and just didn't want to
bother her? Or didn't have enough pillows? It would only be the nice thing to do to make sure he
was comfortable." As she and the Crown stood there reasoning with themselves in her underwear,
she began to lean up against the hallway wall where family pictures and her college diploma hung.
She looked at each and began wondering how in the world she got to this place in her life. So many
decisions and lack of brought her to this platform of independence. And loneliness. Taking a step,
the floor creaked and broke her from her trance which stopped her dead in her tracks. Staying still,
she waited for a sound to come from the room where he stayed, hoping secretly it might have
awaken him, but then wondering just how she would act with him opening the door at that moment,
in a bra and thong. Coming to her senses, she realized she had practically nothing on..."what the hell
am I doing? Get a grip, dumbass," she said to the Crown. She turned and began to lightly walk back
to her room when she heard footsteps coming towards his door. Her walk turned into a sprint, then a
jump, across her threshold and she slammed her door shut as his opened. "M?" he said. "Are you

Blood Spatter Analysis Essay
Introduction
Blood Spatter Analysis (BPA) is a forensic technique to interpret bloodstain in order to understand
and recreate a crime scene that involve blood–shedding event. BPA is regarded as a very crucial
process in crime investigation as it provides evidence in easing a trial process in court. The BPA was
considered as a significant area of science in crime investigation only after the year of 1955, even
though, the first study was dated back in the late 1890. There are several questions arise in blood–
shedding event, such as the origin of the blood, the cause of the wound, the direction of the spatter,
the position of the victim during the event, the movement of victim after the event, and most
importantly is that does the evidence interpreted by the Blood Spatter Analyst is valid to support the
case. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Amongst technique applied to gain an inference of an event is by using Stringing Method in order to
obtain information on the position of the victim and the direction of attack. The blood impacted on a
hard surface at an angle gives a characteristic of 'head–and–tail' shape, and the direction of blood
droplets move in inferred from the direction of the tail formed on the surface. Figure 1 shows the
impact direction of the blood droplet.
Figure 1. (a)Ellipse formed upon impact. (b) Direction deduced from the formation of the tail.
As an approximation, minor axis always indicated the original diameter of the droplet and major
axis and the tail formation showing the direction of the impact. Figure 2 below shows the stringing
method to deduce the position of victim during the scene. Figure 2. Stringing Method
As shown in the figure 2 above, the position of the victim during the scene was deduced by joining
string from multiple drops of blood that impacted the wall according to the direction of individual
drops.

Kling, Ashton Dec. 01, 2016 Science Fair Essay Have you ever wondered how parachutes make you

slow you down. The whole point of this project is to find out what size parachute would work better
for falling to the ground and the weight of the person the parachute is holding. Where do parachutes
originate from? Parachutes were found by Leonardo Da Vinci. He found that dropping to items at
the same height with the same weight would hit the same time, but when he drop a pencil and a rock
they hit the ground at the same time even though they have different weights and sizes. He use the

Abstract
Aerodynamics is known as the study of the different forces acting on an object and the resulting
motion of objects as they fly through the air. Today we know that aerodynamics plays a major role
in many sports, such as tennis, soccer, hunting, and motor sports, we will investigate the effects of
aerodynamics on baseball.
The three main forces that act on a baseball in flight are the weight, drag, and lift. In an effort to
understand how a baseball changes direction we will discuss an additional force called the lift
coefficient ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Like the drag, the amount of lift depends on several factors related to the barometric conditions of
the air and the shape of the object. Additionally the velocity of the object and its relationship with
the air plays a role as well. For a spinning ball, the speed of rotation affects the magnitude of the
aerodynamic force and the direction of the force is perpendicular to the axis of rotation.
The orientation of the axis of rotation or spin axis can be varied by the pitcher when the ball is
thrown. If the axis is vertical, the lift force is horizontal and the ball can be made to curve to one
side. If the axis is horizontal, the lift force is vertical and the ball can be made to dive or rise
depending on the direction of rotation.
A baseball in flight is neither smooth nor symmetric because of the stitches. So the center of
pressure for a baseball moves slightly about the center of the ball with time, depending on the
orientation of the stitches. The lift coefficient – Cl for the baseball was finely determined by high
speed photography of the flight of a pitched ball in many laboratories.
The motion of the ball through the air depends on the relative strength and direction of the forces.
We will look at the pitching of a curve ball. The curve ball problem involves all three forces with an
additional force called the Magnus force. This force is a lift force generated from the spinning of the
baseball produces the side force that causes the ball to

Descriptive Writing Of A Lake Research Paper
The sky rumbles with thunder as the charcoal clouds roll over the excessively dark rough watered
lake. The clouds are so thick and dark that only a few flickers of light, from the moon, shine
through. The depth of the lake appears to have no end, as if anything would get lost if caught in its'
rough currents. Thick and high grass cover the water's edge. The air becomes thick and icy, making
it hard for anyone to breathe. It is the kind of icy feeling that fills the whole entire body, consuming
every inch of life within. The kind that send chills down spines. There is the sound of pinging in the
distance. In a nearby, unlit parking lot sat an old, rusted black car. Its edges were worn away, its
paint peeling away from the cold metal body beneath.

In 2007 the company entered an open beta phase using flash. Three years later Wix had three million
users (April 2010), a year later (March 2011) they had over eight million users and its total funding
had hit sixty–one million dollars. Exactly a year later (March 2012), Wix had replaced the current
use of flash to a new HTML5 site builder. Websites created before this implementation still worked
using flash, but all new sites were created using the new HTML5 builder. This change proved to be
incredibly successful, showing an overall usage of more than twenty–five million users as well as
generating more than sixty million dollars in 2012. By August 2014, more than fifty–one million
users throughout 190 countries have used Wix with roughly 45,000 new users a day.
Scholars Analysis
Flash websites have always been popular with artists because they display images beautifully.
Unfortunately, Apple's mobile devices and Adobe's Android do not support a Flash Player needed to
show images in Flash (Arthur, 2011). In the future, the focus "will be in HTML5 as mobile world
shifts towards non–proprietary open standards" (Arthur, 2011).

files, iCloud content, app content, and content stored in other cloud services like Google Drive,
Dropbox, Box, One Drive, and more. So, you cannot find a separate iCloud Drive app in iOS 11, the
new design resembles the Finder app on the Mac.
With the improvements, developers can include Files integration into their apps, this will allow apps
to be listed inside the Files app like every other content, making it simple to transfer documents,
photos, videos, and other content between apps.
Programmer tools:
Apple has introduced a new APIs to their app abilities, that allow apps to do a whole lot more than

Egg Drop Containerer
My egg drop container is based off of a rough interpretation of the Apollo 17. My container
demonstrates all the required topics of motion, energy and force. My egg drop container involves
thermal, sound and mechanical energy. The container has mechanical energy, because it has both
kinetic and potential energy. Prior to dropping the egg, the experiment has potential energy and as
it's drops, it has kinetic energy. The higher the drop point, the more potential and kinetic energy it
has. When the egg container strikes the ground, it produces sound energy that is produced by the
vibration of the object as it comes in contact with the ground causing a banging sound. There is also
thermal energy with friction against the air, which causes the container to heat up. ... Show more

it goes from potential to kinetic. When it hits the ground, it goes from kinetic to sound and then to

energy. It has gravitational potential energy because the reason it's coming down is due to the force
of gravity. The egg drop demonstrates the Law of Conservation of Energy because none of the
energy is destroyed on impact with the ground; it instead is transformed into potential, mechanical

they have about 10 minutes of silent reading to settle down. Once the packets were handed out and
the students had a crayon and pencil ready to go, the class felt a lot more settled.
For the most part, the students were behaved and engaged in the lesson. Most of the students were
actively participating in the lesson and discussing the North East region. A few students, at times,
were calling out and a little chatty. I have a very nice class but, at times, they can be very talkative.
In addition, there were a few students that were either, not sitting properly or were distracted and in

Miss Maudie in many ways was an open minded character. While most folks in Maycomb were of

was black and she knew it was wrong ( Lee 289). She also talks of how they made a steep in the

How Does Height Affect The Height Of A Dropping Egg
Question: Does the height affect the splatter when eggs are dropped from different heights?
Materials: Ladder (8ft) Eggs ( with food coloring in it) Measuring tape Tablecloth Hypothesis: My
hypothesis is that if I drop the egg from different heights, the egg splatter will be larger. Procedures:
To start my experiment I am going to gather all my materials to conduct my experiment. listed under
the materials section. I start by poking holes in the top of eggs and I add four different colors to
represent the different heights. Red is for the height of 3 ft, blue is for the height of 5–feet, yellow is
for the height of 7 feet, and green is for the height of 9 feet. Set up 8 ft ladder. ... Show more content

In this experiment, I'm going to be dropping eggs from four different heights and see if it affects the
egg splatter. Gravity: This is the force that pulls objects towards each other. On our planet, objects
are pulled towards the center of the earth, which causes them to fall downwards. Drag: Often this is
also called "Air Resistance." Drag is when forces are acting in the opposite direction of the motion
of an object. Impact: Impact is the high force (or shock) applied over a short period of time when 2
or more objects collide. The effect depends on the relative velocity (or speed) of the two objects to
one another. An object at rest tends to remain at rest and an object in motion tends to continue
moving in a straight–line at constant speed unless an outside force acts upon it. The egg will not fall
unless it is dropped (an object at rest). While at rest, the egg has potential energy. The egg gains
potential energy as it is transported to a higher elevation for performing the egg drop experiment.
Once dropped, it will fall. This demonstrates kinetic energy. It will be acted upon by the following
forces: Gravity: which will pull it toward the earth and cause its speed to accelerate. Drag:
depending upon how the egg protector is built, this will vary, but drag will slow the fall of the egg

Advantages Of Machine Molding
d) Machine molding In bench, floor and pit molding, the different molding operations are carried out
manually by the molder, whereas in machine molding, various molding operations like sand
ramming, rolling the mold over, withdrawing the pattern etc. are done by machines. Machine
molding have several advantages over bench, floor and pit molding such as : Performing the same
operations faster and more efficiently in a methodical precise manner. Producing identical and
consistent castings. Producing castings of better quality at lower costs. Molding machines are
preferred for mass production of the castings whereas hand molding (bench, pit and floor) is used
for limited production. Machine molding is not a completely automated process. Although many

The steps taken for casting in a squeeze machine are : In squeeze machine, the mould box with
pattern and sand in it is placed on a fixed table. A flat plate or a rubber diaphragm is brought in
contact with the upper surface of the loose sand and pressure is applied by a pneumatically operated
piston. The squeezing action of the plate causes the sand particles to get packed tightly above and
around the pattern. Squeezing is continued until the mould attains the desired density. In some
machines, the squeeze plate may be stationary with the mould box moving upward. The density and
hardness of the rammed sand at the bottom of the mould box is less when compared to its top
portions and this can be considered as a disadvantage. Squeezer machines press the sand in the flask
between the machine table and overhead plate. Greatest mold density is obtained at the side of the
mold from which the pressure is applied. Because it is impossible to obtain uniform mold density by
this method, squeezing machines are limited to molds only a few inches in

Theirs landed 3.55 seconds, and had a very soft landing with very little impact. One of their
strengths was definitely the amount of balloons they had attached to their contraption to increase
drag.We had some very important strengths and weaknesses that we discovered in doing this
experiment. One of our weaknesses was the lack of balloons we had to increase drag, thus reducing
the impact to a lower level. We had two main strengths. the first strength was the cotton surrounding
the popsicle stick protecting platforms. The cotton prevented less impact even though there wasn't
any drag to slow the fall. The other strength we discovered was the amount of rubber bands we had
used on the contraption to keep things tight, steady, and in place. The rubber bands help out a lot,
especially when you're dealing with trying to stabilize popsicle stick platforms and securing the egg.
if I had the chance to fix or add any supplies, or build anything on the contraption differently, I
would definitely increase the amount of balloons to help with cushioning and slowing down the fall,
and build a different kind of platform that would be more sturdy and easy to work

Aerodynamics of Planes Essay
Aerodynamics of Planes Ever since I was little I was amazed at the ability for a machine to fly. I

my childhood fantasy in the world of aeronautical engineering. The object of my paper is to give me
more insight on my future career as an aeronautical engineer. This paper was also to give me ideas
of the physics of flight and be to apply those physics of flight to compete in a high school

something that kinda floats and it goes down slower . Air resistance plays a massive point in
dropping items because sometimes if the item that your dropping is big it might fall faster because
the air doesn't have enough power for the item. One way that I think will help the impact is to put
rubber bands on all the sides and lift the roll cage for the egg a bit higher than the bottom of the

Introduction
A rapid prototype is defined as a 3D model generated rapidly with the help of Computer Aided
Design (CAD) drawing. The process of creating such a masterpiece requires a number of
prerequisites to be fulfilled on the onset of creating the 3D model. The various portions of the model
are built layer after layer. The processes involved in the creation process include solid ground
curing; selective laser sintering, fused deposition modelling, and stereo lithography.
Rapid Prototyping Tools
There is a wide array of rapid prototyping software available in the market today. They range from
WebZap, Balsamiq, Pencil and paper, all the way to Bootstrap. In this assignment, special focus will
be given to the review of Bootstrap.
Bootstrap
This is specially designed for prototyping in code. It bypasses many basics of creating and enforcing
a basic User interface (UI). This software was designed to eliminate the need for having to write all
the codes you need by hand. It works by availing Bootstrap components you require for rapid

Physics' Roles in Golf
Physics is in everything around us. It is in us driving a car, walking down the street, and pushing a
child on a swing. Physics is also in every sport you have ever played, or watched someone play. It is
involved in a baseball player swinging his bat, or a swimmer cutting through the water. It is also in
golf. In this paper I will discuss three different ways that physics plays a role in the game of golf.
The first is the motion of hitting the ball, or the swing, the second is the spin of the ball, and the
third is the loft of the driver. Let us start with the basic motion of golf, which is swinging the club
and hitting the ball. The golf swing is an example of angular motion. The twist that golfers have in
their swing produces torque on the club, which changes the angular velocity of the club. The key to
getting the ball to travel such long distances lies in the club head velocity. The faster the club head is
going at the bottom of the swing, the further the ball will travel. This is due to a greater amount of
kinetic energy being transferred from the club head to the ball. In other words, if a golfer can get the
right twist down at the right time, the club will be sped up when it connects with the ball. Most
professional golfers can achieve speeds of around 100 MPH at the bottom of their swing. Who
would have thought that there would be so much science behind what seems to be a simple golf
swing? (The Physics of Golf) Moving on to the second way that physics plays a role

The Story Of Drag : A Short Story
Long ago near a pleasant little pond, a blind dragonfly named Drag existed. All the other pond
critters hated the bumbling bug because he always bumped into them. "Are you blind?!" yelled Joe
the butterfly when Drag accidently bumped into him. "Yes actually," replied Drag grumpily, " why
are you yelling?" Unfortunately for him, Joe had already fluttered off toward a pretty flower. "Stop
talking to yourself, you're disturbing my sleep!" snapped Yolanda the moth. "Ow! That's not a
reason to bite me!" Drag said, not knowing that Yolanda had flown off to another spot to rest. "You
wasn't tasty anyway," Mark the mosquito announced, " the softies are so much better." "Speaking of
food Mark, would you be so kind as to bring me some food?" "Nah man you best ask one of your
people, I don't know what you eat!" As mark flew off, Drag continued on his curvy path until he
bumped into another bug. "Oh no please don't shout at me!" pleaded Drag,"I am just trying to get
some food." "Maybe get your eyes fixed first so you can see where you are going!" said Jackie
another dragonfly who was slightly smaller than Drag. Drag started crying, he was so hungry and so
angry that he kept getting yelled at. Jackie felt uncomfortable. "Continue on this path and when the

Gender Trouble in Paris Essay
In Gender Trouble, Judith Butler discusses complications with constructions of inner and outer
worlds of the body. She argues that "internalization of gender", as common linguistics describes it,
is a part of the heterosexual hegemonic binary of gender conformity which distinguishes inner and
outer worlds. Gender, in the commonly accepted model, is innate and through a process of bringing
out the inner gender is expressed. Butler proposes, instead, that "the gendered body is performative"
and "has no ontological status apart from the various acts which constitute its reality" (173). Thus,
gender does not exist within a person, a part of the body itself, but is a performance constructed
through many displays. Gender is not explicitly ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

for Oscar Wilde's A Picture of Dorian Gray, spends all of Paris is Burning either in preparation for a

"Liz Taylor is famous. So is Pepper Labeija. In a sense so am I" (9:48) alongside a track of music
which fades in and out as she speaks non–diagetically over a clip of Pepper Labeija voguing at a

unaware who this is, walking at a ball wearing a thick boa of feathers, a v–neck black sequin dress,
and a horseback riding–style or old military helmet–style black hat with a sequined loose chinstrap
and a back drop of the American Flag. Dorian's clothes are loud, though Dorian performs smooth,
comfortable, and quiet movements with waves of her wrists and a slow, gentle walk. She is a
spectacle with arms wide–open.
The non–diagetic voice becomes diagetic as the film cuts to a close–up of Dorian putting on make–

sense of honesty. Her monotone voice feels subtly powerful. Her shoulders are relaxed and she
moves as though each item is exactly where she placed it. She

Pressure Management on a supercritical aerofoil in transonic flow Abstract–At transonic speeds an
aerofoil will have flow accelerate onwards from the leading edge to sonic speeds and produce a
shockwave over the surface of its body. One factor that determines the shockwave location is the
flow speed. However, the shape of an aerofoil also has an influence. The experiment conducted
compared Mach flow over a supercritical aerofoil (flattened upper surface) and a naca0012 aerofoil
(symmetrical). Despite discrepancies, the experiment confirmed the aerodynamic performance of a
supercritical aerofoil being superior to a conventional aerofoil. A comparison of the graphical

to supercritical. The purpose of measuring the pressure distributions is to assess the validity of the
Prandtl–Glauert law and to discuss the changing chracteristics of the flow as the Mach number
increases from subsonic to transonic.
As a result of the experiment and computation of data, the aerofoil was found to have a critical
Mach number of M=0.732. Below this freestream Mach number the Prandtl–Glauert law predicted
results very ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
However it is deemed reasonably accurate for cases such as this in which thin aerofoils are tested at
small incidence. The law does not hold in super–critical flow when local regions of supersonic flow
and shockwaves appear.
The value of the critical pressure coefficient, Cp*, according to local sonic conditions is calculated
by:
Cp*=10.7M∞25+M∞263.5–1forγ=7/5 (6)

Physics Of Soccer Essay
Gustav Magnus, a German physicist was the first to come up with a reason for the horizontal swerve
of a spinning object. This net force due to differential air flow pattern around a body is called the
Magnus force (Ling, 2002). This lateral movement effect is known as the Magnus effect (Ling,
2002). Actually, the basic principle of a curving ball in soccer is nearly similar as in diverse sports
like tennis, cricket, baseball and golf. Soccer matches are filled with complex aerodynamics as
evidenced in the way balls curve and swerve through the air (Chartier, & Barber, 2007). Take the
example of a spinning ball about an alignment perpendicular to the air flow across it. The air moves
quicker compared to the ball's center where the edge of the ball is ... Show more content on

A ball spinning that is moving through the air, experience a two different forces that are largely
divided into categories, one is the drag and the other a lift force. The lift force is the sideways or
upwards force that contributes to the Magnus effect and the force of drag which is in the direction
that is opposite to the soccer ball's path. A ball spinning with an angular velocity ω experiences a lift
(or Magnus) force in the direction of ω× v with magnitude (Goff,& Carre, 2010).
Drag Aerodynamics
The use of trajectory analysis will help us to understand the aerodynamic coefficients of a soccer
ball rather than the wind tunnel experiments. Wind tunnel experiments have demonstrated that air
flow around a soccer ball transitions from laminar to turbulent at speeds between 20 and 30 mph,
depending on the surface structure and texture of the ball
(Chartier,& Barber, 2007). Using the trajectory analysis allows you test the soccer ball at low speeds
and high spin rates, this allows for higher spin parameters than the wind tunnel experiments. As an
object moves through the air, the air resists the motion of the object

Topic 3: how to convert WMV video to WMA with ease Introduction: Converting a video to an
audio file can be daunting if you do not know the correct method or procedure to follow. So, this
article intends to introduce you to a full–proof method that extracts audio from video without any
loss in quality. part 1 Watching videos on the computers, mobiles, and tablets has been our favorite
time pass in the recent years. So much so, that it has taken over other media as the favorite mode of
absorbing information. The latest format in which most of the videos are viewed is WMV. This
format is supported by windows and thus makes it the most user–friendly for windows user. But in
some scenarios you may prefer to have the audio of a particular ... Show more content on

You can either drag–and–drop the file, or you can select the add file button which is located at the
top–left corner of the interface to add new files. {image 2} Step 2: Setup the conversion: Select the
output format of the file. In this case, we want to extract the audio from the video, thereby
effectively using it as WMV to WMA converter. It can be done by selecting the drop–down arrow.
On clicking, a box will pop which will list of option. Click on the audio tab followed by the WMA

open the converted file by clicking on the converted tab, followed by clicking on the converted file.
As you will see the files are arranged in an intuitive manner which makes it user–friendly and easy
to use. {image 5} part 3 Although the Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate is the recommended
method, in some scenario free online WMV to WMA converter is feasible such as for converting
only one or two videos. If you are a casual user, then you might prefer online tools, where the steps
involved are relatively less and best of all they are free to use

Use Of Social Media On Your Twitter Essay

  • 1. Use Of Social Media On Your Twitter Essay Have you ever wondered how to build your email list as well as drive audience and traffic to your blog with one product? As a website owner and blogger, I wanted to increase traffic while not overwhelming myself with a variety of processes. It didn 't seem like it would be possible since there were different products and services for each aspect of my blogging. I could bring in traffic with one task or increase my email list with another task. Finding a process or product that accomplished all those tasks seemed impossible until a fellow blogger recommended Yumpu.com to create and distribute a slick magazine. With all the traffic streams available to me, I was completely overcome with indecision. I could use social media to drive traffic to a page of my website where I would capture email addresses. Another option would be to send emails asking other bloggers to do guest posts on their site. I 'd also need a service that would allow me to send newsletters to my audience once I had their email addresses. Along with those functions, I 'd also have to have someone create the newsletters for me as well as the page of my website to capture emails. It was all too overwhelming. I needed one system in place to perform all those tasks. I didn 't want to create a sales page as well as weekly newsletters to get people to come to my site. When I realized I needed a great magazine to get people to the website, I didn 't earn nearly enough money to hire a graphic design or content ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 4. The Importance Of Technology In Education Technology involves using tools to solve problems. From the perspective of a teacher, technology helps present information to students. A smart board or a Promethean board is a form of technology that helps present materials during a lesson. Students with visual impairments and visual learners benefit from the usage of smart boards and Promethean boards. For example, while doing observations for a second–grade class I noticed a teacher using an electronic version of their math textbook. Students had their textbooks out and the teacher had it up on the smart board so that they could all work on problems together. When I was in elementary school there were only black boards. However, I did take computer classes all throughout elementary school and all my classrooms had computer centers. I was not exposed to a smartboard until I reached middle school. One goal of adding the smart boards was to make both students and students more technologically savvy. Another goal was to increase the interaction and interest of students within the classroom. Midway through the seventh–grade, the classrooms got Promethean boards. At first, they were confusing to use, but by the time the year ended I was able to use them, so I achieved the goal of being more technologically savvy. Despite the initial confusion, they were fun to use in the classroom. My reading teacher would get electronic books and put them on the board as we read a story. For example, Amazon keeps track of customer's order history from their database which collects information on the items that the customer purchase and groups them into convenient categories. The reason for this is to build a profile on the customer which is then used to market items on the customer's homepage that they would be more apt to buy. Amazon also groups items by pairing certain items. • 8. A Short Story : A Story? She crawled into bed, the day's events swirling around in her head with the help of a little Crown to top it all off. As she lay on her side, she stared silently in the dark and the closed door, listening intently to the silence in the house. Had he already gone to sleep so quickly? She didn't even check to make sure he had everything he needed. Maybe she should get up to and see if he had enough blankets and the like for the night. That's what she was going with. As she sprung from the bed, M tip–toed across the floor, brushing her hair behind her ear, stopping just as she reached the door. Ever so slightly, she turned the doorknob, careful not to make any noise, just in case he was asleep, and peeked from behind a small crack. Across the hall, she could see only darkness from under the guest room door as it was pulled tight. "Figures," she thought. Biting her lip, she pondered what to do next. "Go back to bed, he's asleep," she thought. "But what if he was cold...and just didn't want to bother her? Or didn't have enough pillows? It would only be the nice thing to do to make sure he was comfortable." As she and the Crown stood there reasoning with themselves in her underwear, she began to lean up against the hallway wall where family pictures and her college diploma hung. She looked at each and began wondering how in the world she got to this place in her life. So many decisions and lack of brought her to this platform of independence. And loneliness. Taking a step, the floor creaked and broke her from her trance which stopped her dead in her tracks. Staying still, she waited for a sound to come from the room where he stayed, hoping secretly it might have awaken him, but then wondering just how she would act with him opening the door at that moment, in a bra and thong. Coming to her senses, she realized she had practically nothing on..."what the hell am I doing? Get a grip, dumbass," she said to the Crown. She turned and began to lightly walk back to her room when she heard footsteps coming towards his door. The BPA was considered as a significant area of science in crime investigation only after the year of 1955, even though, the first study was dated back in the late 1890. There are several questions arise in blood– shedding event, such as the origin of the blood, the cause of the wound, the direction of the spatter, the position of the victim during the event, the movement of victim after the event, and most importantly is that does the evidence interpreted by the Blood Spatter Analyst is valid to support the case. ... • 11. Aerodynamics of a Baseball Aerodynamics of a Baseball John Eggler Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University Aerodynamics ASCI 309 Bryan E. Spears July 10, 2011 Abstract Aerodynamics is known as the study of the different forces acting on an object and the resulting motion of objects as they fly through the air. Today we know that aerodynamics plays a major role in many sports, such as tennis, soccer, hunting, and motor sports, we will investigate the effects of aerodynamics on baseball. The three main forces that act on a baseball in flight are the weight, drag, and lift. In an effort to understand how a baseball changes direction we will discuss an additional force called the lift coefficient ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Like the drag, the amount of lift depends on several factors related to the barometric conditions of the air and the shape of the object. Additionally the velocity of the object and its relationship with the air plays a role as well. For a spinning ball, the speed of rotation affects the magnitude of the aerodynamic force and the direction of the force is perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The orientation of the axis of rotation or spin axis can be varied by the pitcher when the ball is thrown. If the axis is vertical, the lift force is horizontal and the ball can be made to curve to one side. If the axis is horizontal, the lift force is vertical and the ball can be made to dive or rise depending on the direction of rotation. A baseball in flight is neither smooth nor symmetric because of the stitches. So the center of pressure for a baseball moves slightly about the center of the ball with time, depending on the orientation of the stitches. The lift coefficient – Cl for the baseball was finely determined by high speed photography of the flight of a pitched ball in many laboratories. The motion of the ball through the air depends on the relative strength and direction of the forces. We will look at the pitching of a curve ball. The curve ball problem involves all three forces with an additional force called the Magnus force. This force is a lift force generated from the spinning of the baseball produces the side force that causes the ball to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Gravity: This is the force that pulls objects towards each other. On our planet, objects are pulled towards the center of the earth, which causes them to fall downwards. Drag: Often this is also called "Air Resistance." Drag is when forces are acting in the opposite direction of the motion of an object. Impact: Impact is the high force (or shock) applied over a short period of time when 2 or more objects collide. The effect depends on the relative velocity (or speed) of the two objects to one another. An object at rest tends to remain at rest and an object in motion tends to continue moving in a straight–line at constant speed unless an outside force acts upon it. The egg will not fall unless it is dropped (an object at rest). While at rest, the egg has potential energy. The egg gains potential energy as it is transported to a higher elevation for performing the egg drop experiment. Once dropped, it will fall. This demonstrates kinetic energy. It will be acted upon by the following forces: Gravity: which will pull it toward the earth and cause its speed to accelerate. Drag: depending upon how the egg protector is built, this will vary, but drag will slow the fall of the egg ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Machine molding have several advantages over bench, floor and pit molding such as : Performing the same operations faster and more efficiently in a methodical precise manner. Producing identical and consistent castings. Producing castings of better quality at lower costs. Squeezing is continued until the mould attains the desired density. In some machines, the squeeze plate may be stationary with the mould box moving upward. The density and hardness of the rammed sand at the bottom of the mould box is less when compared to its top portions and this can be considered as a disadvantage. Squeezer machines press the sand in the flask between the machine table and overhead plate. Greatest mold density is obtained at the side of the mold from which the pressure is applied. The other strength we discovered was the amount of rubber bands we had used on the contraption to keep things tight, steady, and in place. • 38. Physics' Roles in Golf Physics is in everything around us. It is in us driving a car, walking down the street, and pushing a child on a swing. Physics is also in every sport you have ever played, or watched someone play. It is involved in a baseball player swinging his bat, or a swimmer cutting through the water. It is also in golf. In this paper I will discuss three different ways that physics plays a role in the game of golf. The first is the motion of hitting the ball, or the swing, the second is the spin of the ball, and the third is the loft of the driver. Let us start with the basic motion of golf, which is swinging the club and hitting the ball. The golf swing is an example of angular motion. The twist that golfers have in their swing produces torque on the club, which changes the angular velocity of the club. The key to getting the ball to travel such long distances lies in the club head velocity. The faster the club head is going at the bottom of the swing, the further the ball will travel. This is due to a greater amount of kinetic energy being transferred from the club head to the ball. In other words, if a golfer can get the right twist down at the right time, the club will be sped up when it connects with the ball. Most professional golfers can achieve speeds of around 100 MPH at the bottom of their swing. Who would have thought that there would be so much science behind what seems to be a simple golf swing? She argues that "internalization of gender", as common linguistics describes it, is a part of the heterosexual hegemonic binary of gender conformity which distinguishes inner and outer worlds. Gender, in the commonly accepted model, is innate and through a process of bringing out the inner gender is expressed. Butler proposes, instead, that "the gendered body is performative" and "has no ontological status apart from the various acts which constitute its reality" (173). Pressure Management on a supercritical aerofoil in transonic flow Abstract–At transonic speeds an aerofoil will have flow accelerate onwards from the leading edge to sonic speeds and produce a shockwave over the surface of its body. One factor that determines the shockwave location is the flow speed. However, the shape of an aerofoil also has an influence. The experiment conducted compared Mach flow over a supercritical aerofoil (flattened upper surface) and a naca0012 aerofoil (symmetrical). • 45. Physics Of Soccer Essay Gustav Magnus, a German physicist was the first to come up with a reason for the horizontal swerve of a spinning object. This net force due to differential air flow pattern around a body is called the Magnus force (Ling, 2002). This lateral movement effect is known as the Magnus effect (Ling, 2002). Actually, the basic principle of a curving ball in soccer is nearly similar as in diverse sports like tennis, cricket, baseball and golf. Soccer matches are filled with complex aerodynamics as evidenced in the way balls curve and swerve through the air (Chartier, & Barber, 2007). Take the example of a spinning ball about an alignment perpendicular to the air flow across it. The air moves quicker compared to the ball's center where the edge of the ball is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A ball spinning that is moving through the air, experience a two different forces that are largely divided into categories, one is the drag and the other a lift force. The lift force is the sideways or upwards force that contributes to the Magnus effect and the force of drag which is in the direction that is opposite to the soccer ball's path. A ball spinning with an angular velocity ω experiences a lift (or Magnus) force in the direction of ω× v with magnitude (Goff,& Carre, 2010). Drag Aerodynamics The use of trajectory analysis will help us to understand the aerodynamic coefficients of a soccer ball rather than the wind tunnel experiments. Wind tunnel experiments have demonstrated that air flow around a soccer ball transitions from laminar to turbulent at speeds between 20 and 30 mph, depending on the surface structure and texture of the ball (Chartier,& Barber, 2007). Using the trajectory analysis allows you test the soccer ball at low speeds and high spin rates, this allows for higher spin parameters than the wind tunnel experiments. As an object moves through the air, the air resists the motion of the object ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
