The backbone of history rests on its chronology. It gives us the "when" of basic analysis. It gives us
a frame of reference, the order of things. Before having an "absolute" way of determining dates,
history was based in guesses and assumptions. Many attempts were made to organize the dates of
the past. Some of these attempts were made by geologist. Geologist used the idea of "stratigraphic

old ways of dating and doubts in this revolutionary method, it proved to be the closest method to
have an accurate chronology of history. In 1955, to prove the accuracy or radiocarbon, Libby

defined by McCrone, microscopy is "the use of any tool or technique that allows us to identify
microscopic objects." This includes the use of the light microscope as well as more advanced types

past week, I have read articles written by four separate authors who share their opinion on the topic.

we can safely say that the engraving have been there for a while. The main point of this article is to

The time frame is one of the reasons Homer's writings became well known. He wrote during a time
where literacy almost disappeared, and was starting to come back. The other reason being he wrote
about the Heroic Age in the Dark Ages of Greek history, giving the people something that brought
them pleasure in bad times.
The Iliad does not tell the story of the entire Trojan War but focuses on some of the tenth year. The
story shows Achilles and all his anger. Achilles being the best current warrior at Troy. It also tells of
the history of the fight taking place. Homer makes the assumption that the reader knows the history
of the Trojan War and instead concentrates his time on developing the other characters of the story.
This screams to the audience that Homer is not all about the historical facts and is more of a writer
who does this for fun and not to simply write for the education of the reader.
The underlying plot of The Iliad, shown at the start of the play, is the anger of Achilles. His anger
stems from the unreasonable decisions of Agamemnon, the head of the Greek army. This causes the
Greek army to take a hit when Achilles decides he will not go to battle with the Trojans. The theme
of the Trojan War is another one that is webbed into the poem alongside a third theme that is all

there have been conflicting reports on if Belugas lay growth bands annually or biannually. This is

On November 8, 2017, I implemented my whole group lesson at Maverick Elementary School in
Mr. Alderson's Kindergarten class. It was near the end of the day, during the time Mr. Alderson's
students usually did math, which was around 1 to 2 o'clock. The students just came back from P.E.
and were a bit tired looking. However, Mr. Alderson had been telling the class that I was going to do
a fun math lesson after P.E., so the students were very excited when they came back. When the
students came back inside of the classroom, I had them sit on the carpet. Before I introduced the
lesson, I had them count from 1 to 10 as a class. While they were counting from 1 to 10, I wrote the
numbers on the board. Once they counted to 10, I asked the class if they knew what number came
after 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14. Practically the whole class knew the numbers 11 through 15, when I
asked them. A lot of the students counted even further. However, I stopped the class at the number
15. I then told them what the lesson was going to be about. I told them that we were going to do a
fun activity over the numbers 11 to 15. I told them that we were going to find different ways to
represent the numbers 11 to 15. The standard or TEK that I used was TEK K.2B, which was about

During this summer, my friends recommended that I watch Warehouse 13 since I'm fond of science
fiction movies, television shows, and books. However, I was astonished that I truly enjoyed the first
four seasons. I have seen many episodes of Doctor Who, Supernatural, and The X–Files and I was
unsatisfied there was an abundance of episodes. In all honesty, I won't be able to catch up on those
shows. On the other hand, Warehouse 13 is distinctive, this show only had five seasons and around
sixty episodes. They only lasted about forty minutes each so I finished the series in two weeks

longer. An archeologist from a local university is called in to examine the remains. He finds
evidence that the skeleton may indeed be very old. To determine its age, he uses radiometric dating.
Radiometric dating is based on analyzing the amount of carbon–14 in an ancient example of once–
living substantial, related to what is found in a current sample of active material. The important
material on which it is established is that carbon–14 has always been constructed at the same level
in the greater atmosphere for all history.
An element is radioactive if its atomic nuclei are unstable. The nucleus holds neutrons and protons;
the electromagnetic force separates the protons because they have an equivalent charge, but the
strong nuclear force pulls the protons and neutrons closer together. A nucleus is only unchanging if
it has an even balance of protons and neutrons, or also doesn't have any extra energy. Radiocarbon
dating only works on things that were once alive and are now dead.

Regional United FC is a comprehensive soccer club based in Dooradoyle, Limerick. It was founded
in 1974 by 2 men named Seamus Ryan & Lorcan Harney. The idea for the soccer club came about
as these 2 men saw a growing need for a soccer club in an ever expanding urban area. The only
other club serving the region was Mungret Regional FC which had been founded 3 years previously
in 1971.The club is run entirely through volunteers. Regional United grew very steadily since its
founding and developed as one of the biggest and most successful clubs in Limerick. The club has
approximately 370 playing members; 300 of these are male and 70 are female. The male teams
range from under 7s to junior A level. The schoolgirls section of Regional United was created in
2003 and ranges from Under 8 to Under 18 level. The club's main sponsor is Serosep which is a
medical laboratory in Annacotty, Limerick.
