• Demonstrate an understanding of genre & market fit? Our chosen song
would fit into the genre of pop music, we know this due to researching
our chosen song and discovering it made it into the charts. Therefore
qualifying as a popular song.
• Which real example of video have influenced you? Reference at least
two and say what, exactly, has influenced you? One music Video
that has influenced our music video would be the original video of ‘How
to be a heartbreaker’ By Marina & The Diamonds. It has influenced us
by choosing to have a few woman featuring in the video but only one
main male. Another music video that has influenced us is Walk off the
Earths ‘Little Boxes’, there use of cardboard is reflected in all our props
being made out of cardboard. Alongside these music videos the
simplicity of Mr. Men programmes has directed us towards a simple yet
exciting atmosphere for the video.

We plan to link our video with
the digipak through the use
of imagery, by using images
of broken hearts

• Will you be signed to a major label-why? We plan
to be signed to Universal, because we see him a
relatively mainstream pop artist, and also
because is sound and image is similar to other
artist signed to Universal.
• Which other artist are signed to this label? Similar
sounding artist singed to this label consist of
Shawn Mendes, Taylor Swift and a early Justin
Bieber.
4. Risk Assessment
• Identify any risk that could arise when filming, with
some possible solutions to prevent the risks.
• Having our video set at a quick pace due to the song
it could result in collisions or accident, a solution to
this would be making sure everybody knows what
they are doing and props are not to be left on the
floor.
