• Advantages of working in this medium
• An advantage of working in this medium is that it is quite easy to understand what
to do as it is quite self explanatory and easy to use, gives people time to get use to
the basics of photoshop and get used to working with that type of editing
especially for people that have never used photoshop before.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• I found it quite challenging to use photoshop as I don’t have
much experience using it which is why I think my York College
poster could have been improved by making it technically
harder and more complex.

Some of the similarities of these coca cola advert is that
they both have animals in ,however they symbolize
different things for example I chose to use a black
panther as I thought that the red and black ties in nicely
with the traditional colors of coca cola, and it is what
people associate with it however in the actual coca cola
advert they use polar bears and in my opinion I think that
they chose to use this as you associate ice-cold and
chilled with polar bears and that’s what you want your
coca cola to be as thinking of a chilled coca cola sounds
more appetizing.

Some of the strengths of my
final coca cola poster is that the
colors pop out and draw
attention into the poster and
stands out compared to other
posters so people are more
likely to look at it, a weakness is
that I think it doesn't’t look as
professional as it could of if I
spent more time editing it as in
my opinion I think that the
writing isn't bold and easy to
read so the viewer might look at
the poster but not actually read
what the slogan says.

• Advantages of working in this medium
• An advantage of working in this medium is that once importing it into
premier pro I found what I wanted to do to edit it became quite simple
and self explanatory as I just wanted to add sound effects and a
background music I also edited the sound of our voices so that they didn’t
sound so harsh and unedited.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• At the start I found it very hard to make the recording actually sound good
and professional as I was limited to the sound and song choices I wanted
so it wasn’t like my plan as it was the closet things for example I personally
think that the background music was too much compared to the actually
words that are said.

For my final radio product I used
this coca cola radio advert as a
template and then made my
different but using the same layout
for example, setting a scene so we
made ours so that it sounds like a
school ground with intensified
sound effects and then background
music to balance out the voice
recordings so that its not to harsh
and off putting towards the listener,
a difference of my final product and
the actual coca cola advert is that
mine isn’t as smooth and doesn’t
flow as it seems quite stop and
start throughout the whole advert.

8. Radio Production
For my radio advert I think that a strength of it is that the
background music and sound effects fit in nicely with the
theme and actually relate , they also go well from what I
did in my plan so it didn’t randomly change. A weakness
of my radio advert is that the voice recording doesn't run
as smoothly as it could of and that what makes it less
professional and less like a real life advert, to improve it I
could of tried to improve the actual voice recording as I
think it would help make it more of a professional advert
all round.

• Advantages of working in this medium
• An advantage of using photoshop to make my video game is that
once you have created your characters and scene it is quite easy to
animate it and make it move as it is just like taking a picture and
changing the place of your characters slightly.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– A disadvantage of using this medium is that it is hard
to create characters from your plan as it turns out
differently to what you expected so for my own game I
ended up changing it half way through as I preferred it
differently.

11. Video Game Production
A similarity of my product and donkey Kong is that there are
roads of things you have to get passed in order to keep
going and win, I find that this is good in a game as it is hard
to win otherwise it would get boring each time. A difference
is that I donkey Kong after wining you go onto different
levels unlike mine where once you win its over.

A strength of my advergame is that it involves teamwork which can encourage
friendships and isn’t just one person to do it by themselves, a weakness is that
once you win the game is over and there is not loads of different levels where it
can get harder each time to make it more difficult to get a higher level, if I had
the opportunity to do it again that’s what I would change to make it more exciting
otherwise you might get bored after you win a couple of times as it just becomes
repetitive.

13. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the product the
best? Why? In my opinion I think that the video game
advertises the product the best as pretty much everyone is
online and are more likely to want to play the game that
they are to actually look at and read a poster as more
things are on social media and less likely to listen to the
radio when everyone has music on there phone and some
people actually change the station when adverts come on
so this would be pointless to buy all the equipment for a
radio advert for people not to listen or just ignore all the
information.
• Which of your products is the most professional? Why?
• In my opinion I think that the poster is the most
professional to advertise the product properly.
