• Advantages of working in this medium
• It gives me time to learn the basics of photoshop.
• on my second design I had more time to experiment with photoshop and
learn how to use the different tools.
• Another advantage would be I have more tools to use on photoshop than I
would have on ‘Paint.’
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• I have limited skills of Photoshop so I couldn’t use all the aspects of it.
• Limited styles of fonts from the website I used so did not get the effect I wanted
• Another disadvantage was that photoshop has some bugs which slow down my
progress.
4. Graphic Design Production
On original coke adverts they generally have its
logo at the top of the poster because it is what
you read first. It also includes its company
slogan at the bottom in clear yellow writing so
it catches your eye and finally there is an image
of a hand holding the coke bottle (the product)
in the centre of the page.
In my poster design I have used the classic
coca cola logo at the top and my own
company slogan below in clear big writing to
match the original. I have also added Skepta
a celebrity pushing the coke can out of the
screen making it the first thing you notice.

Strengths:
Firstly a strength of my poster
would be that that it clearly
represents coca cola with its
logo at the top. Another
strength is that the slogan is
also short and catchy making
it stick into the customers
head. I also Think that the
product placement is good is
Celebrity MC Skepta is
holding the coke bottle and
pushing it out of the screen.
Weaknesses:
My poster has some weakness
such as that I could’ve cut out
The person a little better as I
can see a few white patches
however it was on of my first
attempts at using photoshop. I
also think that the background
is a bit blurred because I used
an image and zoomed in with it
to give it this colourway. Finally
I think that the slogon could’ve
had a black border around the
red as It can be hard to read in
some lighting.
6. Radio Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– In premier pro I learnt to trim films and make the audio louder or quieter.
– Allowed to import our own voice recording and music/ effects.
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
• A disadvantage of this medium is that its hard to use the software at first.
• There were limits on what sound effects you can input so I felt it was missing a
couple of effects which can make it more professional and appealing to the
audience.
• We were also limited to time as there were some problems with saving it so we
could not create our own music for the advert which I would have liked to do on
garage band.
7. Radio Production
• In the final product we used a simple conversation about coca cola then at the end of the
advert we had our slogan. We also used I happy jingle during the advert to keep our advert
light and our listeners interested.
• On an Existing Advert they generally would use similar aspects to my own for example most
coke adverts which I listed to prior to making my own include a happy tune in the
background keeping it lively, and usually have its slogan at the end. With some potential
information about the product in the middle of the advert.
8. Radio Production
• The strengths of making this product would be that I had a chance to use the editing
software and play around so that I got a greater understanding of it. I would like to have
made our own jingle tune for the radio to make it more professional.
• Also when recording we had technical trouble with the recorder.
• Voice acting was clear and better than I expected. Hearing my own voice didn’t result in any
unexpected surprises.
• We used Premier Pro to edit the radio advert which involved processes of trimming it down
and editing the audio levels to balance it out.
• We output it to MP3 whih is the most common portable format.
10. Video Game Production
• Advantages of working in this medium
– Allows you to be creative when drawing
– Photoshop has layers so you can edit thing throughout the drawing and place things
about
• Disadvantages of working in this medium
– A disadvantage of working in this medium was that I had no idea how to use the
software which was a problem at first
– I found it quite hard to actually make the adver game move as I had to put everything on different
layers.
11. Video Game Production
Flappy bird is a side scrolling
game in which you have to
avoid hitting the pipe or you
die. The aim is to get as far as
you can. The sky is above the
clouds.
My game is also a side scrolling
however you jump over the blue
obstacles and collect the red
ones. If you hit the blue obstacles
you will die. In my design I have

Weakness:
To improve the game
I think that I could
add a points counter
for when you collect
the red coke cans.
Also I think that It
could be made more
clear for what the
objects are as they
are just solid colours
however it would be
copywrited if I
included coca colas
name on the cans.
Strengths:
My game is clear on
what to do as it is a
simple side scrolling
style. It is also a very
bright game giving it a
light happy feel. It is also
a very easy game so that
it isn’t a struggle for my
audience.
13. Comparison
• Which product do you believe advertises the
product the best? Why?
• I believe that my poster includes the best advertising as it is a clear and includes celebrity endorsement of
MC Skepta who is pushing the coke bottle out making it the centre of attention. It also includes a catchy
slogan like most other posters that coca cola have done.
• Which of your products is the most
professional? Why?
• I think that my radio advert was the most professional as me and Amy spoke clearly and it wasn’t too long that a customer
would get board or distracted from it. Also we added a professional jingle to the backing track in order to make it appeal to
my audience more and give it a happier vibe.
