Responsible for the regional activities of the most important SOUTH region of the company including
Terminal operations, receipt management & dispatch activities as per the requirement. Management of
stocks for inventory gains & for uninterrupted supplies of POL product throughout the region & also to
NORTH & CENTRAL parts of the country to avoid any product unavailability.
 Monitoring of NAPHTHA export through ocean tankers from our export terminal through KPT jetty.
 Developing standards operating procedure “SOPs” in order to make the oil movement & Gantry
operation safer and easier.
 Finished products transfer (Pipeline / truck loading) also performed other activities like tanks
 Switchover operation, inter-tank transfer and re-injection system.
 Responsible for smooth operation of PLC and SAAB Radar Tank Gauging System.
 Responsible for monitoring of efficient working of Emergency Systems.
 Preparing and generating necessary documentation and technical reports required by the top
management.
 Implementation and follow up of HSE regulations (Work to Permit System, HAZARD Identification, and
Incidents notification etc.
 Maintaining Oil Inventory & Material Balance & Loss Gain Calculations at standard temperature &
specific gravity.
 Developing strategies for controlling of Custody transfer (Loss)/ Gain.

extensive unit.

2. PROFESSIONAL TRAINING
 Direct and provide leadership for all Operations in the Oil Movement Division bye delegating
directives to shift Operations, for implementing the operations in a safe and efficient manner, to
keep the Refinery operating reliably.
 Preparations of different product Blends In line with Standard Product Specifications.
 Tank Switching Handling.
 Planning, Organizing & Coordinating activities related to loading of Finished Products in Tank Trucks.
Lining up tanks for filling or lowering of oil product.
 Planning, Organizing & coordinating activities related to Inventory Management of Raw Materials,
Products, and Finished Products in Fixed/ Floating Roof tanks.
 Scheduling repairs and Quality Control: weekly, monthly, annual of all equipment.
 Check lab reports and if lab results of the following product are not according to required
specification and need to be adjusted. Then we inject chemicals as per desire.

 Doing oil movement operation in the terminal by tank lorry, tank wagon, pipe line with
Refineries and also handle oil tanker operation and making stock loss/gain report of
Main Tanks. Implement HSE standard in the terminal.
 Volume calculation at different temperatures according to standard product of ASTM(60°F, 85°F,
15°C ).
 Also have good hand experience in Tank Farm activities
 Taking manual dips, Density, Temperature of shipment tanks.
 To carry out shipping according to alleged condition.

 Also knowledge of all operation activities like tanks receipts, tank line ups, tank lorry filling,
meter operation, tank lorry sealing record, product loss/gain, laborat ory coordination
 Measurement of bulk products quantities in shore tanks, sounding of ocean tankers tank,
Marine bunkering through pipe line & Tank Lorries. Loss/Gain calculations by using different
ASTM tables i.e. 53, 54, 23, 24 etc.
