Role and Responsibilities in Shipping, Marketing and Sales Department
Management of supply chain:
Local Sales in all over Pakistan
• To coordinate with OMCs and marketing agent APL for demand accumulation of Lube Base Oils,
Asphalts and Slack waxes every week.
• To coordinate with all operational departments of NRL for the availability of product on daily basis.
• To supervise overall sales of NRL through Tank Lorries from issuance of sales order generation,
loading orders, delivery orders till sales tax invoices of each tank lorry through SAP SD module.
• To supervise the activities of weighbridge operations of all tank Lorries of Lube base oils, Asphalts,
Waxes and POL (Petrol and jet fuels etc.) products. That includes the empty weight and filled weight
of each tank lorry for ascertaining the delivered actual quantity of product.
• To resolve the customer complaints by arranging the meetings at NRL or visiting the customers
personally.
• To keep management updated about the statutory requirements in managing the affairs of sales and
clearances of the products for local & exports sales.
• Being SAP SD power user, it is to ensure the smooth posting, recording and retrieving of all sales
data on SAP timely with effectiveness and accuracy.
• To update the management regarding the current and past sales trend of sales by using the SAP SD
module.

• To arrange the sales data of various products and customers as and when required by the
management for analysis or forecasting through retrieving from SAP.
• To ensure the effective utilization of SAP to all the staff of 30 people by giving them training and
update them with new transactions.

• To coordinate with surveyors and shipping agent for product testing and loading of vessel
accordingly.
• To supervise the staff deputed for the customs related documents of Export.
• To guide the staff for E-filling of GD on PRAL website if necessary.
• To coordinate with staff deputed at hired storage for loading activity of product from tank to vessel.
• To supervise the staff deputed for the making of Export related documents for submission in Bank
after delivery of product.
Import of Crude oil from Saudi Aramco, KSA
• To supervise the staff deputed for the customs related issues in importing of Crude oil.
• To guide the staff for E-filling of GD on PRAL website if necessary.
• To coordinate with customs officials in case of trouble shooting required.
• To coordinate with PNSC for the scheduling and lining up for vessel.
Management of Logistics
• To negotiate with third party storage terminals for hiring the tanks of exportable products at keamari
and make contract of one year.
• To arrange Transporters to make agreement for transferring the exportable products from NRL to the
hired storage terminals at Keamari.
• Annual renewal of weighbridge stamping and initiation of contract documents for weighbridge
maintenance from third part contractor and weight measurement department of Sindh.
• To ensure smooth wieghment operations of all tank Lorries coming empty and filled condition inside
NRL.
• To supervise the weighbridge operators for maintaining the Master data of all tank Lorries visiting
NRL for filling of various products with the help of dip charts.
• To ensure that weighment record of each tank lorry is being maintained in In-house weighbridge
software and simultaneously updating on the NRL server for retrieving when required.
• To conduct various training programs to educate the new updates of weighbridge software.
• To conduct training for the drivers and customer representatives to educate the safety procedure and
driving within NRL.
• To coordinate with security department for the installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras on
weighbridge for easing the weighbridge operator to weigh the vehicle by focusing on monitor.
