Alfie Pimblett created a game by first outlining sections and coloring the ground, walls, and soil. He then added the main character and jelly creatures for the character to avoid. Finally, Alfie added details like an exit and varied shades before animating the character moving through the game to reach the checkpoint.
2. Process
• The first stage of
my product was to
create the outline
for the setting and
make different
sections to colour
in.
3. Process
• The next stage was
to add some detail
and colour into my
product. I added
the ground green
and walls grey and
also the soil a
muddy brown
colour.
4. Process
• I then proceeded to
create and insert the
characters into the
game. I started with
the main character
with the pink hair and I
made him start from
the start so he can run
towards then end by
getting past the small
jelly looking creatures I
also added in.
5. Process
• Before I started my
animation and moving
the characters about I
added in some final
touches. These are an
exit through the wall,
different shades of
colours In the sections
and a bright
background to add
more character to the
game so it is not as
bland and simple.
6. Process
• Finally I started to
edit and animate my
game into a video, I
did this by using the
timeline feature on
Photoshop. I made
my character get
past the creatures to
reach the
checkpoint on the
other side of the
wall.
