Topic: Unit 4: Healthy Habits.
Class: N° 1. Monday 31st July.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
 To recognize and incorporate the grammatical structure “He/She
likes/doesn’t like …., and Do you like + ing?” with the purpose of
expressing what habits are healthy for their lives.
 To practice the listening, speaking, reading and writing macro-skills.
WARM UP
- To present the topic, the teacher will show some flashcards about healthy and
unhealthy habits.
Activity 1:
- Students will play a game classifying them on the board. With this activity, they
will get in touch with the unit and with the teacher.
- Once the flashcards are classified on the board, the teacher will ask some oral
questions, such as: Do you eat hamburgers? Do you usually eat fruits? Do you
usually eat fast food? Do you usually eat chocolate? Do you like candies? Do
you like Coca Cola?
Type of interaction: Teacher-students.
Macro-skills: Listening and speaking.
Timing: 10 minutes.

DEVELOPMENT
Second Activity:
- The teacher will tell the students to open their books on the page 36 and
do the activity. These images show the behaviour of kids of the same
age as our students.
- After doing it, all together check the activity orally.
Type of interaction: Students individually.
Macro-skills: Writing.
Timing: 5 minutes.
Materials: Book.
Second Activity:
- Students turn the page to the 37 one and do exercise number 2.
- The teacher will check the activity with the students.

- Students will listen and read the text titled Birthday.
- They will do the third activity listening and completing with True (T) or

(5-10’) Students and teacher will re-read the text on page 37 to do the following
activities:
First Activity:
- On page number 38, learners will do the activity 4, choosing the correct
option based on the previous text they read on Monday.
- After doing it, teacher and students check it orally.

Macro-skills: Writing.
Timing: 5 minutes.
Materials: Book.
Second Activity:

answering them.

activity number 6 on page 38.

Class: N° 1. Monday 31st July. LEARNING OBJECTIVES:  To recognize and incorporate the grammatical structure “He/She likes/doesn’t like …., and Do you like + ing?” with the purpose of expressing what habits are healthy for their lives.  To practice the listening, speaking, reading and writing macro-skills. WARM UP - To present the topic, the teacher will show some flashcards about healthy and unhealthy habits. Activity 1: - Students will play a game classifying them on the board. With this activity, they will get in touch with the unit and with the teacher. - Once the flashcards are classified on the board, the teacher will ask some oral questions, such as: Do you eat hamburgers? Do you usually eat fruits? Do you usually eat fast food? Do you usually eat chocolate? Do you like candies? Do you like Coca Cola? Type of interaction: Teacher-students. Macro-skills: Listening and speaking. Timing: 10 minutes.
