In my survey I did 10 questions to ask fans of Megan Fox what
they thought about her and what other films she would be good
for etc.
The first 2 questions were general questions about the fans
themselves. ‘What is your gender?’ was the first question and
‘What is your age?’ for the second question. I wanted these 2
questions in my survey because I wanted to see whether gender
and age changed the types of answers I got from the fans and I
also wanted to see whether more male fans or females fans
preferred her. The survey doesn’t state these facts at all but gives
you a rough idea. From the first question I gained more female
responses than males but it wasn’t by far, which suggests that it is
a mix of male and female fans of her.
The second question I gained more people ages 17-25 than
anyone else at all. 1 person ages 30-40 answered but his answers
weren’t of the fact he was a fan of her. This suggests that people
around this age don’t know her very well and her main fans are
aged between 17-25.

3. The third question I asked was ‘What celebrity would
you like to see Megan Fox work with? And why?
I wanted to know more about Megan's fans and by
answering this question it would tell me who they
also are big fans of and if their was a pattern with
the answers. People seemed to answer along the
signs of who they also thing is as pretty as Megan
Fox whether it was female or male. Even though
there was not a lot of responses I got ‘Michelle
Keegan, Zac Efron and Rebecca Fox’ these people are
all popular because of their looks as well as their
talent. This is becoming a pattern of people who are
good looking as well as her and people want to see
them work together simply because of their looks.
The fourth question I asked was ‘What is
your favourite role/character that
Megan Fox has played and what film did
she appear in?’ i wanted to ask this
question to see if their was 1 main
favourite role that she played and to see
if all the fans thought the same as her. I
got varied responses for this one. The
responses I got were transformers,
Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jennifers Body and
transformers again’ other people said
they didn’t have a favourite.
Transformers seemed to be the most
popular which could be due to it being a
popular film that most people have
watched. This is an action film along
with Mutant Ninja Turtles which
obviously she works well in.

4. The fifth question I asked was ‘What film would you have liked
Megan Fox to appear in? and why do you think she would be good
for the part?’ I wanted to ask this question to see what type of genre
film people think she is the best at doing and to see what people
thought about her performance. The answers I got were ‘Magic
mike, Hunger Games, horns, harry potter’ others said that she would
be good in a romcom film, it think someone said ‘magic mike’
because of her looks because that is what the film is mainly about. ‘
Hunger Games’ was suggested because of her good acting in a
physical role, this is because she is seen in mainly action films.
‘Horns’ was suggested because someone thinks she is good in horror
films and good at working under a serious act.
The sixth question I asked was ‘Do you see her as a good role model and
why? I wanted to ask this question to see what people thought about her
from their point of view. Because I know I have a good strong opinion of
her myself but I wanted to see whether other people thought the same
or different. The responses I got were varied. Someone said she ‘seems
down to earth’ which I agree with. Another said ‘she isn’t a role model to
me but for some people I think she would be’ which could suggest this
person is a fan of her but for them she isn’t a role model. Another said
‘yes because she has brought up her children really well and has always
done everything revolving around her family’ which I strongly agree with.
The next person said ‘yes because she isn’t afraid to be herself’. ‘she’s
materialistic and self involved’ which isn’t true at all so this suggests that
the person doesn’t know Megan Fox but everyone is entitled to their
opinion.

5. The seventh question I asked was ‘How and when did you
become a fan of Megan?’ I wanted to ask this question to see
whether people were a fan of her ever since her main film
‘Transformers’ or simply from her modeling career. The
responses I got varied and were mainly from her looks. The best
response I got was probably ‘I wouldn’t say I am a fan of her, but
I think she has played some good roles in the films she’s done’
which suggests that this person likes her as an actor but doesn’t
follow her career.
The eighth question I asked was ‘What do you like about
Megan Fox?’ because I wanted peoples honest opinions
on why they actually liked her and why they were a fan (if
they were) and see if it was similar to my reasons of being
a big fan of her. The responses got weren’t very good as
their wasn’t a lot and not a lot made sense. People like
her because of her eyes which suggests they like her
because of her looks and think her eyes are the best
feature. Someone put ‘her sister, rebecca’ and she
doesn’t have a sister called Rebecca.

6. My ninth question was ‘Can you criticise her in
any way?’ I wanted to ask this question to see if
anyone had any bad views on her and what they
were. The responses were mainly no except for
one person saying ‘she is materialistic and self
involved. I can’t stand the celebrity world’ which
suggests that he is stereotyping her as a normal
celebrity and it suggests that he doesn’t actually
know her well because he doesn’t follow her
work. She is unlike most celebrities.
The tenth and last question I asked was ‘Has Megan Fox inspired you
in any way? And how?’ I wanted to ask this question because I
wanted to see if peoples views on how she inspires people are the
same as mine. I got different responses. One person said ‘she has
inspired me in the ways she has brought up her children and never
given up on her career and she always stands up for what she
believes in’ which are the same reasons she inspires me. Other
people said that she hasn’t inspired them, this could be due to them
not knowing her well and not seen her in many films/interviews.

7. I posted the survey on Megan Fox fan sites
and pages to see if fans of her would
respond.
