2. How the audience are
addressed
I have made a Facebook page which I have
uploaded my logo, an image of the title directly
from the film and the completed film opening.
Facebook is a type of advertising platform so by
adding these to the films page an increasing
amount of people can find out about my film.
I have also added surveys so I can ask the the
people who are interested in the film what they
think of certain things which means the film will
be improved by gaining their feedback.
3. Feedback from completed
surveys
On the overall finished opening survey I found
that:
O 100% gave my film opening 4 out of 5
O 100% said they would continue to watch the
film if it were finished
O 100% say that it looks like a horror film
O 88% said they would buy the film on DVD if it
were to be completed
O 100% said they would recommend it to a
friend
4. The following slides are the
questions which were in the
last survey I asked people to do
along with the results I gained

9. References to other horrors
It follows many of the horror conventions.
One of them being that the storyline of a
nightmare coming to life is relatable for the
audience. We cant control when we have
nightmares and we have all experienced
them. Another is the fact that the young girl
is innocent and has not done anything
wrong to be in that position, this creates a
feeling of sympathy for the character.
10. How the audience is attracted
to the film
The fact that it is a horror film will attract
an audience because many people watch
them to get an adrenaline rush.
The Facebook page would attract people
to watch the film because of posts on it
such as the film opening may work as an
advertising platform.
Hopefully people who liked the film will tell
other people about it which may make
them want to watch it.
