The document outlines pre-production details for a special effects image project, including style sheets discussing color choices for various effects (e.g., red for fire, blue for lightning). Schedules and contingency plans are also included, with the project spanning 8 days and involving creating effects like lightning, star fields, fire, and dispersion splatter. Health and safety considerations are discussed like taking breaks to avoid injury.
2. Style sheetI do not think I will have
to use any text for my
product since its about
special effects of images
This is the colour that the fire
effect will mostly look like
however there could be a
possibility that it could
change to a more interesting
colour such as blue
I'm not sure whether or
not to have light blue
for my lightning effect
or yellow. It might have
to decide on what the
image looks like
The image that I’ll use
for my lightning effect
will be a old mansion
at night or with
stormy clouds above
The dispersion
splatter effect would
work better if the
image was about
someone moving
These are the
objects that I'm
thinking of using
for my fire effect
There are
multiple styles
of star fields that
I can do
3. Style sheet
Orange was another option
for the colour of the fire
design. I chose red because
this is the colour you usually
associate with fire.
Grey could have been used
for the lightening effect but I
felt that adding a colour to
the lightening would make it
stand out more This is why I
chose blue or yellow.
I did consider using purple for
the star field effect but I wanted
to try out different colours for
the star field and try mixing. I
chose my mixed colours as I felt
this had the best effect.
I will use black for the
background of the star field
effect to give an impression of
space. Also, black will be used
for the outline of the character
for dispersion splatter effect.
This will make it stand out more.
.White will be the background
colour for the dispersion effect so
that the effect is dramatic and
easily visible.
I will use the colour green for my
star field effect because I like the
colour and feel it suits the image
as it makes It look effective.
4. Galaxy colours
I chose blue because the
majority of the pictures that I
have seen use this effect.
The colour blue represents to
sky to the audience.
My plan is to use blue, green and
yellow because blue and yellow
make green. The blue and yellow
will be at either end with the
green in the middle so it will look
like the blue and yellow have
combined to make green. .
Yellow is an uncommon
colour in my image but I plan
to use it to create the green
effect.
I will use black for the
background as I don’t think
you can have a star field
effect without a starry
background.

of colours
5. Dispersion splatter colours
I will use white, grey and gold in
this image as this is the colour
of the character I will be using. I
can’t change the colour of the
character because this character
will appeal to the audience.
White is for the
background because the
dispersion effect works
best on a white
background.
I will use grey as this is an
important representation
of the character and the
game.
I will use gold as this is part of
the colour scheme of the
character. Gold is a colour which
will appeal to the audience as it
represents wealth.
I will use black to give the
image contrast. This will
make it more visible to the
audience.
6. Fire banana colours
I will use yellow for the
banana so that the audience
will recognise the object is a
banana.
I will mix the red and orange
to create the fire effect. Fire
is red and orange, these are
warm colours.
The black background is a
requirement for the effect.
The effect will not work on
any other background.
Black is a better contrast so
the audience will be able to
see the fire clearer.
Grey will be used for smoke
to make the image of the
fire look realistic as there is
no fire without smoke.
7. Lightening colours
Black will be the lighting of
the image as when it is
stormy everything goes
black making the image
realistic to look at.
I will use blue for the
lightening colour instead of
the yellow because blue
gives a scarier vibe.
A dark grey for the clouds
will be used as storm clouds
are grey. Grey will also make
the image look very gloomy.
Other colours will depend
on the type of image I
choose but the image must
be dark and gloomy looking

Potential Issue Solution

Politely turn them down but say that you’ll
keep in touch if ever I need somewhere to work

Memory stick corrupting... again Give it to the teacher and hope that they can
fix it. Also don’t take out the memory stick
without shutting down first.

12. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
